CUAP Admissions 2024: Courses, Eligibility, Merit List, Application Form, Dates
Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) offers 8 Undergraduate courses along with 17 PG course, and 1 Diploma course. Courses like BA, B.Sc and BBA, and BVoc programmes, along with MA, MSc, MCom, and MBA at PG level along with different specializations. Additionally, the institute also offers 6 PhD courses.
The admissions to all the courses are offered on the basis of the entrance exam. Applications for entrance and admission are available online.
- BA, B.Sc, BBA and BCom admissions are based on scores from CUET UG and CUET PG is accepted for admission to the PG courses.
- For UG programs students must have passed 10+2 exams or equivalent to apply for CUET. While PG aspirants must have qualified for bachelor’s degree to be eligible to apply.
- All the courses can be applied for at the University campus or through the Official Website of the University.
- All the applicants are required to clear CUET with a valid score.
- PhD admissions are done on the basis of UGC NET/ UGC-CSIR/ NET/ GATE/ CEED/ PhD entrance test, followed by a personal interview round.
To encourage higher studies in the largest district of Anantapur, CUAP was set up. Many faculty members are being offered employment for a smooth functioning of the University.

CUAP Application 2024
For applying to any course at CUAP, the candidate may visit the campus to acquire the Application Form. To apply, the candidates must follow the steps mentioned below :
- Visit the campus or the website of the college to find the Application Form
- Fill in the Application Form with all the required academic details and personal information.
- Submit the filled in Application Form along with the required Documents and Certificates to the college. Candidates are also required to pay the stipulated Fee.
- Online applicants can pay the fee online and submit the receipt of the payment at the time of admission.
- Applicants who have passed the CUET examination will be contacted by the university for counselling.

Ques. What is the process for applying for an MA course?
Ans. To apply for an MA course, the candidates have to fill the application form available on the website or campus and submit the form along with the required documents, certificates and fees.
Ques. What is the CUET pattern?
Ans. Students must appear for the CUET exam which is conducted offline and is in the MCQ format. The paper is divided into Part A & B which are mandatory to be attempted. Other details are as follows:
- Part A (25 MCQs): General Awareness
- Part B (35 MCQs): Teaching Aptitude
- Part C (40 MCQs): It is further divided into four sub-sections. Candidates have to attempt any one section as per the eligibility. They are: Social Sciences, Language, Physical Science and Mathematics; Life Sciences
Ques.What is the required Eligibility for MA course?
Ans. To apply for the MA course, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 55% marks) with English/Telugu as a compulsory subject along with a valid CUET score.
Ques. Can students reapply for improvement in any semester at CUAP?
Ans. Yes, students can reapply for improving their marks in any previous semester exam. The applications have to be submitted through a proper channel.
Ques. Are students allowed to apply for more than one programs at CUAP?
Ans. For admission, students can list their preferences in the application form. They would have to consequently appear for their respective entrance exams based on their course choice.

- University has attractive campus but not permanent. However hostel is quite good.
- There is small library with limited books but almost all references giveb in syllabus are available there.
Dislikes
- There is no student union , so it is difficult to deal with administration.
- There is not sufficient permanent faculty for my course.
Admission:
Admission is processed through CUET exam per year for UG and PG . Reservation is given as per Central government policy . Exam is mot more difficult because syllabus is interesting and faculties are helpful.
Likes
- The thing I liked about my college was that it's course structure as it was one of the according to current situation and compared to other colleges
- The placement provided by the college was also good as it was a new collage and provided the best opportunities
Dislikes
- As it is a new collage the main campus was not available
- The food was provided by in the hostel was not good for the people who come from north India

The admission process for this college is very easy , if you gave CUET then you can easily take admission in the college as it is new many people don't know about it. Cut-off for this is little low compared to other colleges but it will go up in few years

- Flexibility of class timings for our ug level
- Friendly nature of our professors with us

- Mess food of the hostel is very bad and very bad mess caterer
- Campus is not good , very small campus you won’t get the university vibe

So my selection was done through cuet ug entrance exam . After that we have to apply for counselling and you will get shortlisted . After that they will send you admission offer letter . If you accept that you have to provide required documents

Admission is through CUET and merit will be the sole criteria for admission' suggested to come on time during offline admission process as the hostel seats will not be available later and exams will not be that difficult so one can do it's best

- The method of teaching, the staff and facultys all are experienced and very supporting.
- The university frequently organizes seminars, workshops, fests, and so much more to aware and make student more empowered.
Dislikes
- I could say I was a little bit disappointed with the message food and hostels but now they've improved it so it's no longer an issue.

CUET is mandatory, after which one had to register for the university then the merit lists will come and the university will contact you, in physical mode you'll be called to complete your registration and to pay the fees. The seats will be reserved for the candidates and admission will be on the basis of your CUET score.

- No time to focus on entertainment purposes. We couldnt get that much time to enjoy

The admission process for my course was easy. First we have to be eligible to apply for the seat in the college. For me I'm eligible for MA english in this college as I have done my undergraduation in English itself.i found the application form from google i applied it and it cost around 500rupees. I'm not a person with reservation . We have exams frequently as internals, we have three set of internals in a semester for each paper. End sem exam are conducted in each six months. In the admission process the improvement they have to be given was to add more people to take part in admission process for help. To give Proper guidance to the students
