DY Patil International University or DYPIU became operational in 2018 and is a State Private University located in Pune.

The University hosts an array of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses along with PhD programs. Along with regular academics, DYPIU also offers skill development certificate courses and PG Diploma courses.

Admission to UG and PG programs is done through Central counselling by DTE Maharashtra. Candidates have to submit the entrance test scores of the relevant course they are opting for during the counselling. Upon selection, candidates must visit the institute for personal interview and should submit the documents for verification and complete the admission process.

DY Patil International University Course Admissions to all the UG and PG courses are done on the basis of valid scores in MH-CET / JEE / PERA CET / CUET or any other equivalent competitive exams / DYPIU Entrance Test, followed by a Personal Interaction with the university’s selection committee. DY Patil International University PhD Course Admissions 2024

PhD aspirants can also take admission in DYPIU in various streams.
PhD course at the institute is offered in specializations like Biosciences and Bioengineering, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Management and Entrepreneurship, and Mass Communication.
Admission to the program is done through a test conducted by the institute followed by an interview. The selection is judged by the University Selection Committee.

DY Patil International University Course Admission Process 2024

The below steps are followed for DY Patil International University Course Admissions:

Step 01: Register online on the DYPIU website - dypiu.ac.in/lp/application. The registration process begins with OTP verification of Phone number. After successful verification, the candidate proceeds to complete the application form.

Step 02: Upload all the original documents (10th, 12th, Graduation (for PG course), Caste Certificate, Entrance Scorecard, Bonafide, Kashmiri migrants/non-migrants, TC/ Migration of last school/ College/ University) for verification purposes while filling the DY Patil International University Admission Form with the requisite details.

Step 03: Submit the application form and pay the fee of Rs. 1000/- (Non- Refundable) online.

Step 04: Appear for DYPIU Entrance Test & Personal Interview (Candidates qualified for any state/national-level entrance test are exempted from DYPIU Entrance Test)

Step 05: An offer Letter is issued to the selected candidates based on merit of entrance test and personal interview for admission in the opted program. The candidate can accept the offer letter through a link provided in the offer letter or by logging in into their account.

Step 06: The candidate needs to deposit the requisite fee as per the schedule mentioned in the offer letter. Provisional admission letter is issued with detailed information to complete the admission process.

Step 07: Further, for ERP registration, candidates must download the COLLPOLL app of the UMS (University Management System) portal on their mobiles and login with the credentials given in the admission confirmation letter. They must fill the ERP form, upload the required documents and note the UMS Registration Number (URN) for future reference.

Step 08: After completion of the above process, the candidate will be issued a provisional admission letter confirming the seat in the respective program of the University. However, admission will be confirmed only after verification of the related documents at the university campus.

Step 09: The process is followed by generation of Permanent Registration Number (PRN), creation of student dossier, and making of ID cards. Simultaneously, online submission of “Anti-Ragging Undertaking” by students and parents on amanmovement.com or antiragging.com is mandatory

DY Patil International University Refund Policy

If a students chooses to withdraw from any enrolled program of study from the university, DYPIU will follow the below mentioned 5-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by the student:

DY Patil International University Scholarships

DY Patil International University Pune provides scholarships to meritorious students on a first come first serve basis. The scholarships are provided based on scores in 10+2 boards or state/national-level entrance tests. Students will be eligible for scholarship under one category only. D) DY Patil International University PhD Financial Assistance

All candidates those admitted as full-time PhD students will be eligible for financial support in the form of Teaching Assistantships (TA)/Research Assistantships (RAs).
The assistantship is INR 31,000 per month till the end of the semester when the candidate clears the qualifying examination and completes the course work, whichever is later.
For the subsequent period, the assistantship gets revised to Rs. 40,000/- per month.
A candidate can avail of the assistantship for a maximum duration of four years after passing the qualifying examination or clearing of Synopsis, whichever is earlier.

Ans. Yes, the University has hostel facility for girls and boys with proper security and all necessary facilities on a first-come-first-serve basis. Enough hostel accommodation is available on campus for girls in D Y Patil Girl's Hostel. For boys, accomodation is available in a nearby premises in D Y Patil Boy's Hostel being privately managed. All the hostel buildings are provided with 24 hrs security guard facility. In addition, various facilities like - canteen, gym, public phone, cold drinking water, hot water for bath, recreation halls, etc are also available in the hostels. Also, a Doctor visits the hostel twice a week to conduct medical check-up.

Huge Campus and greenery all around the buildings
Sports facilities are best and also multiple departments in sports

Dislikes

Dress code are their but they provide only when the admission is done in 1st year. Then the dress not gonna fit as it's for 4 years.

Admission:

I applied for the college through MHTCET cell were counseling is being done and we have to provide a list and college gets alloted through results so I got an allotment for this. Min cutoff for my branch was the 87 percentile.

Admission:

So here I have chosen this college because of the review of the seniors and really when I took admission here so also realized that this one is one of the best Colleges in Pune as here the environment is very nice and all students are given practical knowledge more than the theoretical knowledge. The admission process is also very simple firstly you have to take the best entrance exam which the college itself conducts and after the selection of this exam the admission is confirmed within 2 days and the parents also have the flexibility to pay the fees in installments.

There are less placement for our batch due to recession
Some faculty is good some may not be good

Admission:

Eligibility for the course was based on the percentage of the 12th standard. Applications are available on the site of the college during admission season. Exam difficulty is moderate. Reservation benefits are not given.

The infrastructure of the college is too good i like the infrastructure of the college and also like the camping of our college it’s very nice
I choose bioengineering course for that we need to do lab work and the labs of the college are too good i like labs of the college it has all the needed materials and also had cell and tissue lab which is very good for us

Dislikes

I don’t like about college is that the college not providing internships to the students. All the students have to do all the things by themselves which I don’t like about college
Also the college is not giving placement to my course which is bioengineering till now we didn’t received any application form from the company that I don’t like about the college

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is 12th paas with pcm or pcmb or pcb We can find application forms on the official website of the university. We have to give entrance test for the admission if we qualified then we get admission

Teachers contribution towards students is very nice.
Behaviour of staff and faculty is also nice

Admission:

This course you can get it on 12th marks bases. You need above 50 percentage. Course fee is about 50k . While admission process as per necessary we have to fill our personal details as mandatory. Difficulty level of exam is depend on ourselfes.

Addmission process is done through entrance exam which is MHT-CET .For open category student cutoff for computer engineering is 97 percentile . cut off is varried as per category of student and branch. student can do addmission from management coata also.

The campus is really good, the interior facilities provided are very good. You'll have a lot of space to chill between lectures.

Dislikes

Campus placements are a bit weak here. As the placement cell doesn't have enough people there and not good conmections.
Some faculties are really not competent at all. And you'll have to complain so many times to get to the head.

Admission:

The eligibility required more than 60% in class 12th. If you have more than 85% then you'll be enrolled directly. If less than that then there's an interview process which is taken by the faculties themselves and it isn't that hard. You just need basic GK knowledge and little street knowledge. The exams are mostly practical so you don't have to stay up all night learning stuff. It's very fun.

The campus is beautiful. You get to chit chat a lot with your friends and you have many options to roam around.
The teaching aids which are used there are very good. The labs are well equipped with recent softwares.

Dislikes

The notes are actually not been sent to us time to time
Long lab hours. Usually every practical subject has 2 lab hours so sometimes it becomes hectic since somedays we have back to back lab hours.

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is 10+2. Personal Interview is conducted during the admission round. You have to first apply through the university website then fill the admission form after which you undergo a PI round online. And then if you get selected you are issued a offer letter within a couple of days and you may proceed to fee payment for confirmation of admission. The exams are conducted every month. The papers are conducted one/two subjects per day with no day gaps between two papers. 2 Mid Term Examination, Practical Exam and End Term Examination is conducted. The difficulty level depends on the subjects. Sometimes we are provided with question banks and sometimes we aren't. But passing is not that hard. The admission round need not be improved I feel. It's good and you can easily get in .

Some things like ac in every class its heaven in summers
And I'm not talking about every faculty but some are great

Dislikes

Parking is the biggest issue u will face in the college if ur late for class then u will get more late
Faculty's are not that great it's rediculus in my scene

The average student with 50% is eligible for my course. Everything u can find on their websites dypiu No reservation benefits its pvt college The exams are Very frequently done and regularly The area to improve is communication between students
