SICSR Infrastructure & Facilities
A 120 Mbps wifi network is available on the SICSR campus. There are 12 classrooms, 5 computer labs, and 2 A/V halls with a total of 102 N-Computing devices being used by students and faculty members.
In 1985, SICSR Library was founded. The reading hall and the stack area are the two sections that make up the library. Books, periodicals from both domestic and foreign publications, magazines, and audiovisual materials are all available at the library. The Library is home to an extensive collection of materials on computer technology and related fields.

- The course was divided into trimesters and has a duration of 2 years, including industrial training.
- The campus placement was good as many companies turned up, such as ITC and Patni Computers, and provided a stipend of 5-8k. Some even offered a higher stipend of 12k with a 3-month probation period, followed by 20k per month.
Dislikes
- Based on the BBA-IT degree, we were not able to secure any IT jobs as developers or testers.
- I have not availed any such facilities, and I am not aware of any loan facility offered by the college.

I also applied to colleges in my state and the college I am currently studying in. I chose this college because it is one of the top colleges in India for the course I am pursuing and I got selected. The admission process of my college is like this - first you have to give a MCQ based aptitude test and if you pass then you go to the next round that is divided into two parts, first is you will be given a random topic on which you have to write about and the second part is PI. If you pass you get accepted. Both the marks are consolidated and then the students are selected.

When I was selecting colleges, I applied to a few institutions that I believed would suit my academic and career goals. SICSR offered a more specialized and focused program in computer applications that perfectly matched my career goals. The faculty at SICSR are highly experienced in the field of computer science and provide a great mix of academic knowledge and industry insights.

Admission:
Eligible for undergraduate program is 10+2 requirement with 50% marks minimum from any recognised board. Process involves filling form, form fees and submitting within the submission date. Admission to the college is based on the performance in the symbiosis entrance test (SET) and then a cutoff is placed after which the candidate goes on for the next round that is the personal interaction (PI) and then the writing ability test (WAT).

Admission:
First, you need to apply for the SET exam which SIU conducts. It was a 40-minute aptitude exam and 20 minute WAT exam. The exam was overall easy to moderate. You'll be asked to book a convenient slot for your exam. The overall process for taking the SET exam was very smooth. After taking the SET exam, you'll be eligible for the PI round. You can also book the slot for your PI as per your convenience. Very basic questions were asked of me to test my knowledge of computers. Merit lists are declared after a month. The merit lists are based on the following: SET score: Scaled down to 20 PI: Out of 50 WAT: Out of 20 10th Standard marks: Out of 10 (Since it was pandemic time, in my case, the WAT was conducted along with the SET exam). If you clear all the rounds you'll get the admission offer letter. If you lack in any one of the rounds you'll get waitlisted. And you'll have to wait again for one month for their decision regarding your admission.

The entrance test SNAP was intermediate and I achieved 88 percentile the process of admission was good and very simple but the suggested cutoff for getting in is anywhere around 50 percentile the cutoff displayed elsewhere are totally false as some of my batchmates have entered on a percentile of 30 as well

You are supposed to sit for (SET) Symbiosis entrance test to opt for sicsr. The eligibility criteria demands for 10+2. The application forms are available on the official website of symbiosis University. I have little to no knowledge on the reservation criterias but I'm sure you'd find some if you surf through their website.

Admission:
The eligibility was simple, you can be either of commerce or science background. You should have cleared 10+2 system with minimum 75%. The application forms are available on the official site of symbiosis. Reservation benifits are provided to lower castes, military and NRI'S for more info you can check the official site. Their process was very smooth. The entrance exams and the interview was upto the mark.

Admission:
It is eligible for all CBSE and other board students. You can apply in their website. NRI will be charged double the fees. No improvement is required but they can improve the size of the campus as it is too small.

Everything is great there admission process is very smooth starting from the entrance test and written ability test it also has a personal interview it goes up to the 3rd merit list. professors are always supportive

The application process conducted by SICSR, Pune is both online as well as offline. Candidates seeking admission to UG programs must have passed 10+2 in any stream or an equivalent diploma in Engineering & Technology with a least 50% marks. Selection of the candidates to UG courses is based on the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) score along with Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT). Candidates seeking admission in PG courses require a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The final selection of the candidates for PG courses is based on the score of the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) along with Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (GE- PIWAT). The candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are provided with a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score of the qualifying exams.
SICSR Pune BCA admission 2024 is open via SET 2024 and the last date to apply is April 12, 2024. The candidate must have passed XII (10 +2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes.

Admission to the course is done based on SET exam followed by PI-WAT round.
The classes for this session of 2023 will begin by December at SICSR Pune.
You need to appear for entrance exam viz. SET/SNAP to get admission to SICSR Pune for admission.

The fee for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is INR 5,45,000 for the duration of 3 years which includes various charges such as security deposit, youth development fund, examination fees, registration fees, mess charges, and other miscellaneous charges.
