For someone who wants to give IIT-JAM. The cirruculum is not up to the mark . There are many things that one needs ro study on their own when it comes to biotechnology. Exams are taken after 3 months or so with tests in between. They have his ritual if I must say of asking students to summarise the last day's lecture.

The curriculum is well-designed in our college and they have some classes assigned just to mentor students where they can improve their communication, leadership and presentation skills. It actually helped me to face the huge audience. The reason to choose a particular course is because of the teachers and syllabus they have. The exams are conducted after 4/5 months of the course. The teaching method is excellent. However, I want the college to implement more practical knowledge like keeping 6 months internship and teaching practice, teaching corporate-related skills, Microsoft Excel which will benefit the students during their placement.

The curriculum and syllabus are pretty thorough and let students think and be creative. In psychology, multiple theories have been discussed well and projects based on them are given to make the understanding better. The lab classes play an important role since we get first-hand experience with how experiments are conducted, and they tend to give a deeper understanding of the topic being studied. I chose this course because I was interested in the subject, and the classes strengthened this decision of mine. The teaching methods can be a bit more interactive and while frequent quizzes and discussions do occur, certain parts of the subject need a more extensive explanation, and usually extra emphasis is not given to important topics. We have one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam. According to me, these exams are enough to help students prepare. The difficulty level has got to be very subjective. I find some topics harder than others and that influences my grades.

Course sometimes feels still it could have been better, but over all it seems good. It's not that old nor that new. There few subjects which is really much needed on today's world like income tax, GST, Accounts etc.

Courses are as per the industry standards and overall curriculum is goood for BCOM . Apart from covering only syallabus in the class teaching necessary skills to get placed would also be helpfull for the students I feel. Exam durations are great you will get ample amount of time to prepare for your exams. Exam difficulty level is moderate it's not completely easy or difficult it's moderate .

The structure and curriculum of the course in very elaborated. The specific aspects of the curriculum will definitely influence the decision. In my opinion more practical works are to be added in the course.

The course which I choose was an alternative instead of doing CA, as my course was integrated with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) which was a quite new professional course in the field. This course deals with International Accounting and Finance which covers almost all the ACCA subjects from taxation to audit and assurance. The BCom exams are quite challenging as it prepares us for ACCA papers.

The curriculum is detailed the first two years mainly first year had been about various topic like art, social economics reforms discussion and how our country is different from others across the globe and how indians adapt to situations differently with statistics involved. The second year started off with academic advancement and got a little tougher to manage in terms of the amount of fests SJCC holds but however, its relevancy is unmatched
Here is a brief highlight of the course fee for a few reputed courses at St. Joseph College.

B.Sc | INR 32, 960 |
B.Com | INR 70,450 |

You can get detailed information regarding fees on the college website. If you are new to Karnataka state, then the university may ask you for an additional 10,000 for admitting to a new board. However, if you are a non-Karnataka student but passed your 12th or PUC from the Karnataka board then you don’t have to pay the additional amount.
Also, if you take foreign languages like Garman or Franch then your college fees will be a little higher.
Both Christ University and St. Joseph College Bangalore are reputed. In terms of quality of education, the former is a little ahead. However, economically St. Joseph is a better choice. As the course fees are more affordable. But both will provide you with decent opportunities. Christ offers better foreign exposure in terms of foreign lecturers and professors.
Christ is also quite strict regarding dress codes and rules on campus. Accommodation around Christ is cheaper compared to St. Joseph. Since St. Joseph is located in central Bangalore.
You can choose either of these two institutions, according to your convenience
