- AND ACS ARE ALWAYS BE TURNES ON, THERE IS TOO COLD

- The faculty is nice and helpful. They provide all the necessary books links and pdfs.
- The infrastructure is beautiful. You'll have beautiful places to sit and relax.

- 75% attendance is mandatory. Gaming rooms are almost never available.
- If you want internships then you'll have to figure it out by yourself.
Placement Experience:
The average package is 5-6 lakhs per annum. The highest package till date is 32 lakhs. If no campus placements are offered then you can even interview for placements outside of college campus. It might be difficult to get placements on campus for average students.

- The library is actually the best place in the entire campus

- The class timings is something which almost everyone dislikes
- The exam schedule and holiday lists can be provided a bit early for the students

The placements here are not really bad it all actually depends on the students and how good there preparation is . The college offers its students to sit for placement after following some basic conditions

- The classroom size is usually good and also well maintained
- The library is really good with comfortable seats and good wifi speed

- The class timings are very odd... sometimes there is a gap of almost 3 hours between 2 classesv
- No proper schedule is provided also at times classes are scheduled few hours prior
Placement Experience:
I really don't know much about the placements here because currently I am a 1st year student here.But from what I have heard usually there are a lot of mass recruitment companies which visit our college during the placements season

- The classrooms are well mentioned and has enough space
- The library has a lot of books available related to each and every course
Dislikes
- At times during the first few semester you can have as much as 9 classes in a single day
- The attendance policy is very strict,almost all the students face this problem
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very much similar to that of any other engineering college in India.The only thing that I think can be improved is the number of subjects in every semester can be reduced a bit as it becomes very hectic for a student to make time for their personal interests

- Placement is excellent and they offer good package

- Attendance it's 75 percent which I hate the most
- Canteen doesn't contain chicken which is my fav dish

From 6 th semester should are eligible for campus placement companies name are amizone Google then wipro etc highest package was 34 lakh and average of 6 lakh 70 percent of students get placement from college

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I love computer and want to become an engineer.this course has high demand in market. There is job opportunities too. The exams are moderate they neither easy nor that tough. The faculty are good

- Friendly environment and nice friends and faculties
- Various facilities available inside college.
Dislikes
- Washroom facility is very bad, unclean and not maintained
- Students do lot of drinking and smoking right outside the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because it is very special in itself. But due to personal reasons (not have both maths ans bio in 12th being one of them), i would not able to apply is other colleges. This college let me do so. The faculty is good, and friendly. If we talk to them, they suggest various things to note.

- The faculty, they go from bench to bench to clear doubts
- Seniors, are cooperative and don't rag their juniors
Dislikes
- Attendance, they create ruckus about giving attendance
- Class timing, sometimes they extend classes beyond 4:30 pm
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty is well-equipped with modern-day technologies. Professors are involved in government-aided research. For biotechnology, there are 25 faculty members for core biotechnology, with parallel subjects being taught by teachers of respective departments.

- Opportunities to build yourself at various events the college conducts and build yourself a name and personality
- Well-behaved seniors - unexpectedly they are a better mate than your class peers
Dislikes
- Extremes, Amity tests both extremes of a college student . Postive. Negative.
- Hostel feels like jail sometimes with a bit restricted pass system to get out of it for outing
Placement Experience:
BTech courses have been targetted with placements here in Amity and make the news. Other courses see less placement opportunities. Placements peaked 2023 season with 32.40 LPA as the highest package offered to a BTech CSE student by Amazon

- Seniors, no chance of ragging and their friendly nature
- Teachers, going from bench to bench to clarify doubts

- Strict routine, with very less free periods
- Attendance issues. Mentors are strict with attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculty of Biotechnology department at Amity is excellent. We have mentors for each section(around 45-47 students). Faculty members are involved in government aided reasearch and were even involved in reasearch abroad. We have around 25 faculty members for core biotechnology. Paralled subjects are taken by teachers of respective departments.

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS
The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS
University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

Amity Kolkata specifically provides a broader range of research opportunities ranging from international research to national research. The institute has catered 500 books in different domains along with 6000 research publications.
