Amity University Kolkata Scholarships are available for meritorious and talented students based on their performance in qualifying examinations and sports field respectively. The university offers upto 100% scholarship to students securing 93% and more in aggregate in Class XII examination and 80% & above in Graduation. There are only a limited number of scholarships available at Amity Kolkata which are granted on a first come first serve basis. The following scholarships are offered by Amity University Kolkata:

The university offers MBA scholarship based on performance in Class XII and Graduation. Amity Kolkata also considers National Level Examinations like CAT and MAT for offering MBA scholarships. The student must have studied Class XII from CBSE/ ISC/ State Board. The table given below shows the eligibility criteria for Amity University Kolkata Scholarship:

Amity University Kolkata Sports Scholarship
Amity University Kolkata sports scholarship is available for candidates who have shown an exemplary performance in the field of sports. The beneficiary of this scholarship should not be more than 23 years of age. The students under this scholarship are also eligibile for Fast Track Admission i.e. such candidates do not have to appear for sports trial and interview, and their admission will be based upon the application form and assessment of last three years sports certificate. - Commonwealth Games, S.A.F. Games and Afro Asian Games
- Paralympics Games (recognized/ affiliated by IOC/ or MYAS)

Amity University Kolkata Scholarship Guidelines
The students should be aware regarding the following points while applying for Amity Kolkata scholarships:
- The scholarship is granted in the first year of the course, and the continuation of scholarship in subsequent years depend upon the scholarship policy.
- For availing 100% scholarship, the student have to secure a rank in top 5% of the merit list.
- For availing 50% scholarship, the student have to secure a rank in top 10% of the merit list.
- There should be no year gap between Class XII and Graduation.
- The aggreate percentage of Class XII will be calculated based on best four academic subjects (English + 3 Subjects), exculding Physical Education/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational/ Non-Written subjects.
- Once a student is selected for a scholarship, he/she has to visit the admission office with original marksheets for scholarship grant lastest by October 31 of the year of admission.

- The infrastructure is massive. The college is environmentally friendly too.
- The campus is huge . The faculty guides are very cooperative.
Dislikes
- Transportation problem can be often seen outside of the university .
- Getting accommodation is tough if you are foreign students. Try coming as early as possible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fees structure varies from course to course and it is available in the official website. For studying bba it takes 6.5 lakhs but i got scholarship for 1 year which made it 5.5lakhs . Scholarship and get continued if the student holds a good cgpa.
Likes
- The faculty is nice and helpful. They provide all the necessary books links and pdfs.
- The infrastructure is beautiful. You'll have beautiful places to sit and relax.
Dislikes
- 75% attendance is mandatory. Gaming rooms are almost never available.
- If you want internships then you'll have to figure it out by yourself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
For B.Tech CSE the approximate fees for 4 years is 10 to 12 lakhs. There are 3 types of scholarships 25%,50% and 100%. You'll get 100% scholarship if you've scored above 9.8CGPA. As of now there are no campus employment opportunities known to me.

- The campus of amity is huge. The faculty is also very good.
- Placement of amity is good. Amity conducts different fests which grows the student from all aspects.
Dislikes
- They are very strict with timings. If you are 2 mins late or even a minute, you won't be granted attendance.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The tution fee at Amity is high no doubt. The cost of my complete education is 10,08,000 for hostel and fees only for bachelors excluding food. If you have scored above 70% in 12th you will get 25% scholarship only for first year. I haven't recieved it yet

- The best learning environment. The teachers were very helpful and helped whenever I had any doubt regarding any subject.
- The ambience of the entire was very postive.
Dislikes
- The fees were bit overprized. Also the food in the canteen were shabby sometimes
- Minimum 80% attendance required in each and every subject
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The tuition they have structured is in a very strategic manner because when I first joined the fees were 41000 + 20000(security fee) The second-semester fees also stay at 41000 the Third and Fourth semester Fees were 86,000 in total the Fifth and Sixth semesters were 90,000 in total

- Very nice faculty, very clean campus as well as canteens as there are 3 canteens. The library is big, peaceful and clean. Also the falculty helps you in like study oroblems as well as life problems. Very friendly nature. There number of events goin.
- Campus is very big, including the hostel. Bith are clean and well maintained. There is parking area different for faculty and students or visitors. There are number of shops in front of the campus so if you don't waant to eat from campus canteens.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The semester fee changes for each year. As for me, the 1st and 2nd semesters were of 40500 each and the 3rd and 4th will be of 420500. It can change but the figure will be in 40k each semester, so for a year 80k-90k is expected. For scholarships, there is an option for students who scored more than 90% in their class 12th.

- The aspects of college that I was looking for as a freshers, I found in Amity University Kolkata.
- The professors are all very friendly and helpful. They are experts in their own fields, their teaching methods are definately beneficiary and understandable. They support us in every way possible in case of our career development.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Apart from fees, the university provides scholarship for each and every student based on their 12th board marks. Job placements are provided to students from college. Also there are PhD programs which give stipends to their students.

- The infrastructure and the facilities provided bybthe college
- The environment of the college is spectacular.
Dislikes
- The course cost of almost every course is very high.
- The administration is a bit late at works.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Though the course fees are very high in Amity but the college provide a bunch of scholarships. During admission if the student has his/her boards percentage more than 93% they get 100% scholarship in the 1st year and if it's between 90% to 92% the students get 50% scholarship. Although the fees are high but the college provides placements with higher package.

- Then clubs like sports club events club fashion club do activities on regular basis.
Dislikes
- Well location of the university , administration, crowd .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
As far for fees structure on average its 60000 per semester there is no such rate of hikes suddenly.complete cost would be around 500000 .they do provide scholarship on different criteria as if you have more than 85% u get scholarship and other also and there is no campus employment.

BCA from our kolkata campus ... 67000/- per semester approx total 4 lks 23 thousand approx for 3 yrs ( 6 semesters) Students credit card you can apply for loan which is provided by the state government

- Campus is very good and big. It also has a football turf
- Amity held every year a new fest and Amity's most famous fest is Amiphoria

- Outside gate environment every one smokes even girls too
- For hostellers there are many restrictions

Does Amity University, Kolkata provide scholarships to students?
Amity University Kolkata is one of the best private universities in Kolkata. The course fees are not affordable for a middle-class family but the university provides over Rs 50 Crore worth of financial assistance to the student on merit basis or on need. The categories of scholarship awarded to students are Merit-based scholarship, Sports scholarship, Martyr’s scholarship.
- Merit-based scholarship
This scholarship is awarded for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. To avail 100 percent scholarship one should have a minimum of above 93% in the 12th Board examination. If one needs to sustain the scholarship for the entire course period one should continue to be within the first 5 ranks in the merit list. If one score is above 85% in 12th Board examination, one could get a 50% scholarship. In order to sustain it, one should maintain their rank in between 6 to 10 in their entire course period. 25 percent scholarship is available for the ones who score 80% in their 12th Board examination and they could it in their entire course period if they maintain their score in that range.
- Sports scholarship
The admission is given on Fast Track for the eligible students without Sports Trial and interview. The qualified ones are supposed to submit their sports certificates for the last three years and application form. The sports items accepted for the scholarship are Athletics, Badminton, Chess, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Shooting, Swimming, Tennis, and Volleyball. 100 percent scholarship is given to International Players, National medal winners are given a 50 percent scholarship. To avail a minimum of 25 percent the students should do sports trials and interviews in addition to the Application and Assessment of Sports certificates for the last three years.
- Martyr’s scholarship
?Martyrs from the following organizations can avail scholarship - Army, Navy, Air Force, Assam Rifles, Special Frontier Force, Indian Coast Guard, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB, State Police. The applicants should submit evident documents to support their scholarship form. This application undergoes scrutiny under the Scholarship Committee.
