What's New in GITAM University Hyderabad?
GITAM Hyderabad accepts TS EAMCET for admission to BTech/ BE courses. TS EAMCET counselling schedule has been released by TSCHE. Candidates having a valid TS EAMCET 2023 score can register for counselling from June 26, 2023 to July 05. The round one seat allotment for TS EAMCET will be released on July 12, 2023. The round 2 counselling registration can be done on July 21 and July 22. TS EAMCET Round 2 seat allotment will be released on July 28.

GITAM Hyderabad, Telangana campus came into existence in 2009. GITAM is a deemed university. The university is known for offering different Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate degree courses in various disciplines of Engineering, Management, Science, and Business Administration.
GITAM Hyderabad campus offers B.Tech, BA, B.Arch, B.Sc. in Chemistry at UG level, M.Tech in six disciplines, M.Sc and an MBA program are offered at PG level. It also offers Ph.D. in various fields of Engineering and Technology.

the admission process was very smooth. students have to write an entrance exam (GAT) and there will also be a personal interview and after clearing it you will get the admission and there is also scholarships based on your GAT Score
Likes
- The campus has open gates, it's not very strict compared to others, and also the food in available in the canteen and hostels, the teachers are understanding and always ready to help.
- The exam system of Gitam makes it easy to score they have 70 marks for internals and 30 marks sem end exam, hence it's easier to score and get high cgpa.
Dislikes
- The campus isn't very big, the facilities available are a little old and few of the classrooms are non ac
- The crowd of the gitam is mixed, 50% is good whereas 50% is bad

You can apply for the GAT exam which is the entrance exam for gitam University either through their website or in person at the University, you can then select your slot of exam, after that you are to appear at your centre for writing your GAT exam which is computer based, depending on your score you clear the exam and get your scholarship.

The application and entrance test process was pretty quick and straightforward. You get an enrank to be eligible for scholarship or you pay the full fee of 3,50,000 (for CSE). The cutoff depends on when you are attempting the exam. December entrance test will have a greater than the cutoff of the exam in March

- You have the freedom to do your own things, from course registration to faculty selection

- College starts a little early, it starts around 8 am

There was no particular cutoff for entering. But for CSE align with scholarships the cutoff was around 4000 rank. I got scholarship for the entrance exam that I wrote. Entrance exams occur in 4 to 5 phases.

- Infrastructure and the way lectures help students in their placements and friendly teachers and staff
- easy evaluation and labs are good and 5 days a week college
Dislikes
- placement training and bringing more non IT companies for placements

First we have to give Gitam Gate scholarship test for the 25% to 100% discount If we get 3000 below rank then we have a chance to avail the discount but sadly i got 3048 rank and I missed the scholarship. and after that all the admission process is easy the accounts team will sennd you mesaages for the admission process after the exam

- The fees is little high for the hostel and college if u can afford it it is the best place to study

You are eligible if you have a good rank in any of the exams like jee , eamcet, gat which is conducted by University, I got a rank of 3082 and I was eligible for schoolarship of 15 percent and they also have sports based scholarships and other scholarships like siblings,alumini, employee scholarships

It was very similar to how other colleges perform their admissions process where in they check the student documents marks and their background thourghly and then once the verification is done a mentor is assigned to take care of the student for the rest of the 4 years of the college so if the student has any doubt he can interact with then and clarify their doubts.
