From third semester the fees are charged quarterly. The amount depends on different basis such as EWS, Maharashtra domicile, SC/ST, Non Maharashtrains. Mess fees are roughly around 17000 for 4months(is not included in university fees). Centers such as Think India or the placement cell committee are responsible for providing internships. No personal experience.

The tuition for me while joining the university was 3,80,000 which is subject to 10% increment on a yearly basis, although the fee in the first year is pretty steep due to the caution deposits and other things, second year onwards it's 2,80,000 , the includes hostel fees as well, mess fee is paid on semester basis and costs approximately 5000 per month, scholarships are provided by the state and depends from where you belong, placements are fairly good considering how new this NLU is, alot of centres are to be a part of and overall a great academic experience considering it's fairly new

Fees policy is so high that poor students find it difficult to pay because its starts from application fees. An application fee for an examination is 5000 Rs. which is high for poor students. There are many scholarships avail there, e.g. post-matric scholarship for OBC, freeship for SC & ST.
The fees of our college compared to other plus is quite high, for the general category students one has to pay around 3.5 to 3.6 lakhs per year inclusive of hostel and mess and for the domicile students, one has to pay around 3.2 to 3.3 lakhs per year. There are no prominent scholarships by the university itself, the domicile students can apply for the Maharashtra government scholarships.
Fees are quite high compared to other NLUs and State Government colleges. But one can get benefits from caste-based scholarships. Usually, fees are increased by 5000 per semester. But it's worth it. If one can not afford it, one can opt for cheaper colleges.
In comparison to other NLUs the college fee is on the higher side but the college offer scholarship through Scholarship by the Department of Social Justice & Assistance, Scholarships by the Central/State government, Fee waivers/concessions.
The fees structure is divided into tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees, etc. The fees do get a hike every semester. In comparision to other colleges especially other private colleges, MNLU Mumbai is affordable for a course such as law. There are a lot of scholarships offered by states as well as universities and institutions for all the categories. The college has an internship and placement cell whose database helps students get placements. There are no on campus jobs.
Scholarship facility was provided by the university. Students belonging to reserved category of Maharashtra state offered scholarship by the Government of Maharashtra. Scholarship are also offered for the students domiciled in other states in accordance with Central or state government rules and policies. Bank also provides loan to the students who cannot afford their fees.
As college is government recognised one can easily get loan for their education. if one is eligible then he she can also apply under National scholarship portal or under the state government schemes for economically weaker section.
