The faculty is quite knowledgeable and learned. Practical aspects of subjects are taught.
The infrastructure of the Institute is very good. Campus has all the necessary amenities required like library, smart classrooms, hostels, mess etc.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers internship to students in various domains. The big companies which came this year were ICICI, Indigo, HDFC Bank, Accenture , D.E Shaw etc. The average stipend stood at 50000 and roles offered are from all domains like marketing, sales, finance, operations, analytics etc.

The institute has various clubs and committees which students can join. The clubs and committees are responsible for organizing various events and manage the institute

The permanent campus of IIM Sirmaur is getting delayed

The institute provides campus placements for summer internships. There are also various live projects offered in campus. A lot of companies come to the campus for the internship opportunity and the institute is doing fairly good

Companies like EY, Benetton,RAK Ceremics and many other MNC's visit the camous every year for internship opportunities They offer internship across all domains of business The minimum duration for the summer internship is 2 months

Life at Himanyan IIM

Campus life is the one thing I like the most because it's different what it experienced in our undergraduate it's engaging and serious and more practical we have lots of assignments with deadline on the same day EOD when we all do our best
Clubs and committee as IIM sirmaur is student driven compus. So the culture here is very good and supportive.

IIM has temporary campus so it's small in comparison to other IIMs and it's original permanent campus which they are about to shift
Library facilities is the another thing that I disliked because it doesn't have enough space and resources which we need for MBA course.

There are many companies that come to our campus for internship hiring like KPMG, EY, Tiger analytics, Amazon, HDFC Bank l, ICICI Bank, Adani Power, Campusutra, DE Shaw, etc. All the batch gets 100% placed for SIP period. Roles are offered in different fields like marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, Analytics, Consultancy, etc. they placement committee is also very supportive during the whole placement process. The average Stipend is around 30000 which can very for batch to batch. The internship is for 2 months.

It is good and faculties are very good and helpfull. They help in ur project how to do and push students to participant in case study.
The culture of the IIM Sirmaur is very different from other IIM and seniors are very helful

the transport system was very disappointed because there is no near any railway station and if want to take your train on time than you have to go Dehradun or Yamunanagr or Chandighar.

Placement Experience:

* For summer internship it strat from the 2nd term of ur MBA degree, that is 2 months and for final palcement it start from the 5th term. * There is almost 120 companies cames for palcement both SIP and Final placement, They took almost 426 out of 510 students got palce *In 2024 the highest package is 24 lakh and the avarage package is 11 lakh * there are almost 85% students got place * I will do job for 5-6 year and than i will start my own startup.

An Exquisite Experience

Campus location is so good, all hill stations are easily accessible.
Faculty here is very proficient and all of them have domain expertise

The current location is situated in a small town names paonta sahib so there are not much places to visit.

There are various top tier companies coming in for the summer as well as final placements. They offer a wide range of job roles and a decent stipend. The summer internship ranges for a minimum of 2 months which can be extended in case the projects are pending.

IIM Sirmaur

The location is amazing. In the lap of hills.
Places like Mussurie, Shimla, Dehradun, Kedarnath Badrinath are super close

The admin is very lethargic and uninterested, often causing issues
Infrastructure is one thing that is lacking as of now

SIPs are good. Likes of Paytm, Amazon, EY, ICICI, DeShaw are on campus. There are a lot of international offers as well and overall if you're a good candidate, you'll get 50k+ ka SIP without much issues.

Faculties are highly qualified and supportive

Weather at Himachal is very uncertain, it also affects your health

Generally, internship opportunities are provided by college placements, Recruiters such as ICICI, HDFC, bajaj finserve, Internselite etc visit the campus to provide internships, a huge chunk of people get placed in startups. the averge stippened of this year is near about 15,000/ per month and the highest was 1 lakh hardly 80% batch placed till now.

Gunjan IIM Sirmaur

Peer to peer learning environment, beautiful place, are things I like the most here.
Industrial exposure and nice placement opportunities also makes it a better place to boost your career.

Infrastructure is not alsways great we are still in the temporary campus.
The weather is not always too good. Sometimes it's too hot and sometimes too cold.

As the market is not good this year, each IIM is facing trouble in providing internship opportunities to the students. But, IIM Sirmaur is still doing the best among many other IIMs. We are getting many companies for the internship opportunities. Some companies may not be best, but there are still good.

I got marketing and operations roles in my summer internship with a stipend of 80k per month. I am not supposed to disclose the names of the companies as it is a question of integrity. opportunities for the live project will be given by the institute.
