The Institute is growing very rapidly. We hae got IIT Hyderabad Director as our new Director.
The food, mess, classrooms, hostel rooms are very good and worthy the fees you pay. Since the campus is newly built

Dislikes

The campus is located on the outskirts of Kurnool city. So you will be disconnected from the city life.
The placements are bit low as compared to other IIITs. The college also does not show it transparently on the website.

Campus Life:

Solasta is our annual cultural fest which is held in February. Many esteemed and distinguished personalities come to our Institute. Festivals and special occasions are celebrated with great pomp and show. Students are highly active during this time. Dance, shows, dramas, standups, etc. are included. The classooms from 2nd year onwards are in the new blocks which were built last year only. These classrooms have WIFI connectivity, ACs, comfortable and student friendly seats and tables. Power sockets are also available for each student beneath the table. Sports facilities are also fine. Cricket ground is under construction and it will take time for completion. Basketball, cricket pitches, football, lawn tennis, badminton all are played in the campus grounds. Groups and clubs are there for engaging students into some social and extra curricular work.

An honest look at IIITDM Kurnool: Ideal for some, Not All

College is situated at the top of the Jaganathgattu hill. The college enjoys isloation and freedom from the city's disturbance.
College is all set with it's new campus and exciting opportunities for future coming students.

Dislikes

Location of the college is somewhat outside from the town which make it hard to transport to the city. As there is no mode of transportation available.
Restriction on the exit and entry after 7:00 PM curtails student's freedom.

Campus Life:

As college has built it's new campus so campus life will be definitely good for the upcoming students. There are number of clubs are there in college which you can join according to your area of interest. College organises one cultural fest(SOLASTA) every year. College has it's own library, newly built classrooms and labs and they are having sufficient resources available for the studies.

The campus, and the faculty is really nice
The faculy is experienced and belong to very prestigious institutes themselves.

Dislikes

Since the campus is on a hill it gets pretty hot in summers
Distance from the main city, Have to go far to get stuff

Campus Life:

The campus life is very fun, there are many events that continuously take place, There are club events like astrology dance, music and so much more The hostel life is fun, we get to learn more about cultures of other people

Faculty members are experts in their feilds and the curriculum emphasizes practial skills alongside theoritcal knowledge
The institute encourages research and innovation. Student have acess to well equiped labs and facilites

Dislikes

Passing exam can be difficult due to tough papers covering the syallbus with limited time for preparation
Some individulas find the campus location inconvienent or isolated espically if it is far from urban centers

Campus Life:

Solasta is the annual Techno-cultural fest of IIITDM Kurnool. It typically takes place in February. Solasta aims to bring out creativity and technical skills through various events, both technical and non-technical. The central library at IIITDM Kurnool provides a wide range of resources: Access to books, including open subject textbooks and reference materials. Availability of journals and research publications. WIFI connections ensure seamless internet access. Comfortable benches and modern amenities enhance the learning experience. IIITDM Kurnool encourages students to participate in sports and extracurriculars: The institute hosts the Inter IIIT Sports Meet, where students compete in various sports.

Campus Life:

Starting from the fests to the club activities we can say these are some of special strategies to boost our level in study. The availability of books in the library is good. The classroom facilities are excellent. Sports activities are given higher chances to play in inter IIITs sports meets.

Likes

I liked the way the college is building up now but not in the past there were many hurdle and problems to face
I liked the way the faculty treats and explains the topics in the way that it will be understandable by every one in the college

Dislikes

The way the faculty behaves they combine both academics and other things
The college and hostels were too far to go daily we have to climb many steps which is hard task

Campus Life:

No proper club activitied are done in the college they are not at all active the class rooms are gud and technological provinsions within the classrooms are good.we have inter iiit sports meet every year

Likes

The environment there is very good for studying. Teachers pay a lot of attention to the children.
The teachers there are of very high level and they are well qualified seniors who always support and help us to move ahead.

Dislikes

The environment there is the same throughout the year, the temperature becomes a little high in summer and there is no cold there

Campus Life:

The new building of our college is very nice and there will be no complaints about it. The central library is very good and the classes will be developed with equipment from life where you can experiment with everything. Facilities are dedicated towards not studies but also on practical knowledge. Their is a little bit acadmic pressure and also 75 percent attendence policy which is in good side . And the main thing our seniors are so good.
Sport areana is also there , cricket, football, basketball court, lawn tennis, bollywood and indoor stadium is there in the campus. Where you can go and Play till 9pm. There is also a gym inside the campus

Dislikes

There are 120 steps which you have to climb to reach your class from your hostel in summer time it's is too hard to walk on the road. Ont only in summer because campus is situated at hill so the weather is also hot in morning and afternoon
Institute is situated at the hill so you will definitely face some problem is you want to visit the city auto driver charge to much.

Campus Life:

Every year inter iiit sports meets take place. Collage fest of 3 days solasta take place every year. All small and big fastival we celebrate inside our campus. Their are lots of club in which gdsc club is biggest which teachs students about the web development, and other skills in the coding area .

The working Culture is good in the iiitdm kurnool
the campus is big and thier so many things to do like indoor,outdoor games and college is situated at mountain so the view is also good

the number of classes is so many we have to attend all of them
They give us so many home work ans assignment to do

Campus Life:

The name of the annual and technical festival is Solasta it is held in February of every year. The books they provide are enough for everyone in the college and the library size is also big enough. It has a modern classroom and also has free wifi and LAN. Yes in our college we have so many other clubs also like dance club, singing club, drama club and many more. overall the campus life is good.
