The Institute is growing very rapidly. We hae got IIT Hyderabad Director as our new Director.
The food, mess, classrooms, hostel rooms are very good and worthy the fees you pay. Since the campus is newly built

Dislikes

The campus is located on the outskirts of Kurnool city. So you will be disconnected from the city life.
The placements are bit low as compared to other IIITs. The college also does not show it transparently on the website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We know that the Govt. of India is laying huge emphasis on the semiconductor industry of India so the potential for growth and opportunities is high in the ECE department. IIITDM is located between Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the two major IT and electronic hubs of our nation. The placements are definitely going to rise exponentially in this field. Apart from them, I had an interest in electronics from class X itself. The curriculum is the same as it is in other top-notch institutes of our country like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum we follow is of NIT Warangal. Our professors use projectors and smart boards for better explanation of the subject matter. Labs and Practical workshops are scheduled so that we have real-life understanding of the concepts

College is situated at the top of the Jaganathgattu hill. The college enjoys isloation and freedom from the city's disturbance.
College is all set with it's new campus and exciting opportunities for future coming students.

Dislikes

Location of the college is somewhat outside from the town which make it hard to transport to the city. As there is no mode of transportation available.
Restriction on the exit and entry after 7:00 PM curtails student's freedom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking, the course curriculum is not that good and industry oriented. Some of the subjects are outdated. They do not focus on the subjects which are actually required to get a job in the industry.

The faculy is experienced and belong to very prestigious institutes themselves.

Since the campus is on a hill it gets pretty hot in summers
Distance from the main city, Have to go far to get stuff

I liked the way the college is building up now but not in the past there were many hurdle and problems to face
I liked the way the faculty treats and explains the topics in the way that it will be understandable by every one in the college

Dislikes

The way the faculty behaves they combine both academics and other things
The college and hostels were too far to go daily we have to climb many steps which is hard task

Likes

The environment there is very good for studying. Teachers pay a lot of attention to the children.
The teachers there are of very high level and they are well qualified seniors who always support and help us to move ahead.

Dislikes

The environment there is the same throughout the year, the temperature becomes a little high in summer and there is no cold there

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have missed this branch in college in which we are taught about Electrical and Communication Systems. I have interest in this subject, hence I have taken this subject and The class timings here are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We have theory sessions from 9:00 to 1:00 and live sessions from 2:00 to 6:00. Both of these Alternatives can also be done according to Batch and Student. There is an exam every month, here the course is for 4 months, so there is exam in the first month, exam in the second month and last end sem, that means there are total three exams, minor one, minor tu and end sem exam. Minor 1.20% Minor 2.20% and End Exam 50% Remaining 10% was Class Activity and Practicals There are total three exams in the course in 4 to 5 months.

Facilities are dedicated towards not studies but also on practical knowledge. Their is a little bit acadmic pressure and also 75 percent attendence policy which is in good side . And the main thing our seniors are so good.
Sport areana is also there , cricket, football, basketball court, lawn tennis, bollywood and indoor stadium is there in the campus. Where you can go and Play till 9pm. There is also a gym inside the campus

Dislikes

There are 120 steps which you have to climb to reach your class from your hostel in summer time it's is too hard to walk on the road. Ont only in summer because campus is situated at hill so the weather is also hot in morning and afternoon
Institute is situated at the hill so you will definitely face some problem is you want to visit the city auto driver charge to much.

Other than engineering course their are skill development course, design course and electives are also their which is beneficial for an engineer when they will enters in the corporate world. Exam difficult change with the syllabus some time hard some times easy also.
