IIIT Kalyani M.Tech Admission 2024
IIIT Kalyani offers a two-year M.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The program has a total intake of 30 students each year. The program will be conducted via live online classes and virtual labs conducted over the weekends.
IIIT Kalyani M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech./B.E. degree in CS / IT / ECE, MCA or MSc / MS in CS / IT / ECE. The candidate must have obtained at least 60% of the total on the diploma examination. - Kalyani as a City is a beautiful city with alot of greenery.

- The facilities here are very poor everything is so scattered.
- No permanent campus, even after coming here everyone is saying campus will not be allotted for now
Admission:
I got Indian institute of information technology bhagalpur ece branch it's a good college as it has it's own permanent campus while we don't have that so that's why it is preferable in that way but our location is better with other facilities. Kalyani is a great city to live in. I took jee main examination and I got these colleges based on my rank although I hoped for better ones.

- Professors- Highly Skilled and Knowledgeable Professor.
- Subjects- Core subjects and Some important subjects like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are taught as they are the next big thing.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - The college doesn't have its own campus for now as the main and permanent campus is under construction.
- Smaller Size - The college only has two courses and that too recently. Before it had only CSE. so not much people in the whole campus.
Admission:
My admission process was easy and I got allotment and documents verified online in just 3-4 days. You can apply here through josaa counselling and once you get allotment then you can easily follow their instructions on their portal and get your admission. Application form and everything you can get from their official portal. Since it is through josaa counselling, there are no need for improvement in the process.

- Faculties are well qualified , most have Phd from IITs. They will genuinely help you if you approach them. They will even help you personally if you approach them.
- They library is small but has books related to academics ,even if you submit books lately, no fine is imposed generally.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small as it is currently running on temporary campus. No social life. Hostel life is also very bad.
- In labs, many components don't work and nobody fixes it. We have to go through alot of trouble during experiments of circuital subjects like digital, analog etc.
Admission:
I gave JEE-MAINS and got into the college. You have to clear the exam in order to get into the college. After results, JOSAA and CSAB counselling is there, one has to be through these process which is very authentic and conducted by central bodies. Then after getting admission letter, go to the college website and get the broucher, there everything will be given like all the documents you need to upload to the institute.

The admission is done based on JEE Mains percentiles and if you qualify through JOSAA or CSAB you will be eligible automatically. They will check all the documents and certificates are original and you have to fill the anti-ragging form online. Then you can get the admission certificate and that's it. They will enlist your name in the servers and will give you a registration number later.

You can only get this college through jee mains and there is no other way. Once you are done with giving your jee mains, you can go for JOSSA and CSAB councelling, the cutoffs are generally low here and you can get this college easily, moreover there are reservation for OBC,SC and ST category. The is no home state kota in this college. It is growing very rapidly and may get its cutoff high very soon

To be eligible to get admission in this course you need to get at least 75% in class 12 and must have appeared in jee mains. To find details about jee mains visit their official site jeemain.nta.nic.in . If you belong to any reserved category you will get better seat than general category student at same rank . The exam is a bit difficult to crack and it's timings are 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm . I think improvement can be done in admission process by reducing caste based reservations.

I gave JEE Mains Entrance Exam.The Exam was of mediocre difficulty.It had Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects and the eligibility criteria of the course is 75% in Boards Exam.The Entrance Exam is conducted twice in a year and the best out of the two is chosen as the final result of the exam.
