The curriculum of this university is specifically tailored to cater to the future needs of the students as there are extensive reading materials provided for each course. After the third year, you have clinical courses from which you can choose. I find this aspect very useful because, if you have picked out a career path, this might just be a value addition to you! As for the exams, there are two exams per semester a mid-semester examination for 20 marks, and an end-semester examination for 30 marks. Rest of the 50 marks are divided into research projects, class presentations, and reports.
The course curriculum is highly standardized and methodical. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and have graduated from prestigious law schools. Their experience is extremely beneficial to us in all activities. Their teaching methods are modern and flexible for students. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Faculties provide us with adequate training in activities such as mooting, debates, research approaches, and so on. As TNNLU is a residential college, students can approach the faculty at any time. The course curriculum was developed to emphasize practicality, and the faculty goes above and beyond to ensure that every student is learning properly. A student must achieve 51 percent to pass, and the structure is made up of project papers, vivas, internal examinations, and the class test.
Feasible. College provides complete transparency in the fee breakdown. The fees amounts upto Rs. 1, 94, 000 per year. No other extra fees needed. All general modes of payment are accepted such as the NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cheque and such. The fee doesn't change for each course.
Law course is pretty expensive, as it can amount to almost INR 200000 yearly, so for 5 years duration it can be around INR 1000000. However, there's financial assistance given to students in need so that's a relaxation.
For a duration of 1 year, the fee is around INR 168000 and this is inclusive of all, even hostel charges. So, if you are not a hostel inmate, the amount may vary slightly. It is pretty expensive for a one year course.
