NIT Manipur offers scholarships to students who can not meet their academic expenses due to their low economical background. Students pursuing professional degree programs and technical courses in Engineering at NIT Manipur are often benefited from scholarship schemes and get relaxation in their tuition fees along with other rewards on the basis of their merits/categories/ annual parental income and other factors. Scholarships offered by the Government of India under several different schemes are acceptable at NIT Manipur. The interested students can check the scholarship details and apply for the Government of India scholarships by visiting the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

The NSP also has applications of international scholarship schemes for specific courses such as the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Japanese Government Scholarship. Apart from the Scholarship schemes, the institute also provides the facility of financial aid to its needy and meritorious students under the rules of MHRD, Government of India. However, fellowship assistance is also provided by the institute every month to the students enrolled in the research-based M.Tech and Ph.D. programs in the discipline of Engineering or Technology. NIT Manipur also provides the facility of Education Loans from the Nationalized Banks of India to lessen the financial burden of the students and allow them to pay the whole course fee in easy installments at reasonable rates of interest.

Our college environment is very nice . I liked it very much
The faculty is asli very good in our department and in our campus

The facilities in our collage i wont like that much .
They will provide less quantity and less quality in food

Fees and Financial Aid:

I yearly paying 100000 to the institution yearly. The tuition fees is 25000 and all caution fee , registration fee, admission fee, development fee, lab fee an other fees will comes under the tution fee . We have to 25000 for hostel per semesters . The students who have ther family incomes certficate under 120000 will get scholorships .

About the faculty. All the faculty have good background and they teach us very well
About the lab. The equipment that we have in our lab is good enough for us

Fees and Financial Aid:

For those who are studying MSc they have the same fee structure but for Mtech and Btech it varies. MSc. General category 1st Semester- Rs. 14350 2nd Semestet-Rs. 8550 3rd Semester-Rs. 8850 4th semester-Rs. 9350 Msc ST and SC category 1st semester-Rs. 7500 2nd semester-Rs. 1050 3rd semester-Rs. 1250 4th semester-Rs. 1750 that's all for the fee structure And for the scholarship Institute don't provide any but we can apply for state and national scholarship available in NSP

i like the nature and the environment here is very peaceful.
the faculty here is good and undestandable.

Dislikes

there should be improvement in the mess as food is not tasty and insufficient to the students.
the infrastructure is not good as expected.

Fees and Financial Aid:

the tution fee is less compared to other private colleges and nits as well . the fees is same and has not changed since 2016. the tution fees is 66000 and after total security additional cost it will be 77000. for st/sc candidates they can avail scholarship through national scholarship portal(nsp).

I like the environment. It has a clean environment providing atmosphere for studies.
The student teacher relationship is very good

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not that good. It lacks many things in terms of infrastructure.
Administration of the college also lacks proper utilisation

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees are quite reasonable and stable for an engineering college . Me being an ST student enjoys a full free tution fee wavier. So the whole course for me would cost around 2.5 lakhs. I have applied for scholarships under NSP Top class fir ST students.

The semester fee is around 70k for general students, while students from other categories get a remission of two-thirds or the complete fee amount. Students can benefit from several scholarships such as NSP, FFE, etc.

Teachers are supportive mentorship qualities are good .
There are 4 workshops for mechanical branch more than any other branch

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not good need improvment .
Mess and hostel gaurds are not supportive sometimes they sre drunked .

Fee increase is rear because it's controlled by government. 3 lacs for obc NCL candidate . No tuition fee for obc NCL student below 1 lacs 2/3 of tuition fee above 1 lacs to 5 lacs family income. No campus employment this need to improve.

The institute has a central library, sports facilities, workshops, and separate hostel for boys and girls.
The campus is located in a beautiful natural setting with lush green fields

Dislikes

Transportation facilities is very poor. Situation of vehicles are so poor.
In-time for hostel is very bad because of Manipur situation.

My tuition fees is 11000 per year.(SCs) Total cost of my education:- Tuition fees 58000 Hostel fees 112600 Travel charges 88000 My scholarship name NSP(Top class scholarship for SCs class students) and the amount I received per year is approx 45000 but in my 1st year I have received 86000(including laptop fees)

Location of the college is good as it is situated in a place away from noises and disturbance of the city.
The facilities are quite good and interactive with the students.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is quite poor being a National institute of technology college.
The classrooms are quite old and it needs a lot of repair and maintenance.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The current semester fees is 77700 for 1st semester, 70000 for second semester, 67400 for third semester, 66000 for fourth semester,67400 for fifth semester, 66000 for sixth semester,68400 for seventh semester and 67800 for eight semester. There are scholarship opportunities which you can apply for it from either NSP or ONGC.

Nature around college is warm, relaxing and very peaceful
College is surrounded by mountains and fields with helps to maintain the inner peace for a person

Dislikes

Need a good infrastructure including auditorium, classrooms, labs
Hostel accommodation is provided way too far from college for girls, which is a bit hectic

Fees and Financial Aid:

As from my personal experience, i was a gen-ews candidate, so my fee structure was something like this- College fees- vary between (24000- 30000), Hostel fees- (32000-40000). Hostel fees is same for all the categories of students but tuition fees varies as mentioned and is least for SC/ST people.

Mainy I liked the environment of the college
The placement team is very helpful and they care for each student

The behaviour of seniors with their juniors
The quality of food that they provide in mess is very bad

The fees is almost 76k per month for general category students excluding all the fee relief If we include the scholarship then our fees reduces to zero. If you belong to obc ews or sc st and you have family income of less than one lakh then in that case whole few will be reduced to zero
