- Infrastructure of departments, labs and buildings are in very bad condition.
- The boy girl ratio is very much bad,, like 10:1.even IEE department has 0 girls in this 27 batch

The university itself conducts on campus placement every year and specially in our department the highest package goes around 8lpa -9lpa. And the average package stays around 3-5lpa But incase of other departments specially computer science engineering the highest package goes about 80lpa And other departments around 20lpa as well.

2 nd semester students become eligible for campus placements.... Jadavpur University Placements 2023 is concluded with 1200 offers. More than 1000 students were placed. Jadavpur University highest package stood at INR 85 LPA. Jadavpur University highest package stood at INR 85 LPA. 35 offers ranged between INR 45 LPA & INR 80 LPA whereas 100+ offers ranged between INR 35 LPA & INR 45 LPA. Some of the top recruiters of Jadavpur University Placements 2023 included Schrodinger, Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw India, Citi Bank, HSBC ...etc.

In Jadavpur University the students are eligible for campus placement after 6th semister. In the non core department of engineering the placement is aprox 95% and in the core departments the rate is aprox 70%+. The good thing is if you did b.tech from department you will eligible for IT sector jobs in many companies

There is lot of company visited in this university. Some of them amazon, Google, Facebook, cipla pharmaceutics, sun pharmaceutics etc. Here we sit core branch or non core branch. Thats your discission. Approximately 90% placement given on campus. The highest package is 10 cr.. My plan after degre i will getting better placement.

After the 6th semester, the understudies are qualified for campus arrangements. Cipla, sun pharma, lupin, and so forth organizations visited. The normal bundle was 4 to 5 lakhs and most noteworthy was 24 lakhs. About 78% of amazing open doors were arranged and it differs from one division to another.

The CSE department of JU is highly affordable. The highest package till the date of this department is 55 LPA and the average is 20 LPA. And in our department, department of pharmaceutical technology the package is 14 LPA and the average is 4 lpa. In JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY placement of this department like Computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, pharmaceutical technology is almost 100% placement. And the other is almost 60- 95 %. My plan after getting the degree is to crack the GPat and NIPER Exam and to admit to a NIPER college for M.Pharm.
Remarks:
College took their fees after every semester as they followed cbcs rule in the college. What I like in this was that there was no pressure of submitting such heavy amount of one lac every year. Semester really broke fees as something good

It is ragging free campus. Fees is very low in this university. Now a days internal politics and use of alcohol is rising problem in jadavpur University. But overall it is a very good University in Kolkata which is providing you a gender sensitized and ragging free campus with good placement record.
