- The faculty is really helpful. Doubt clearing classes along with revision classes are thoroughly conducted.
- Group activities and projects are encouraged allowing increased exposure and experience.
Dislikes
- The campus could be better maintained. The classrooms could improve in cleanliness
Campus Life:
The campus provides a variety of extracurricular activities and merit courses outside of the chosen degree. Sports and cultural events, competitions and workshops are held throughout the year. Established personnel from the field are invited to oversee these workshops and certificates are provided allowing a heightened experience as well as a meritorious addition to the resume

- First of all in 1 St year I experienced the most lovable thing is the guidance of seniors after visiting the campus first time and these was much valueable things that I want .The campus life in 1 St year filled with soo much excitement .
- In 2nd year I shared a much better boundless friendship with the college mates and this smoothly moves the college life .
Dislikes
- I dislike the kind of culture they borrowed and showing that they are showing fit and fine
- And the political agendas also destroy the campus into different bits
Campus Life:
Annual fest held on in the month of February and we are enjoying a lot with different singers YEAH there are 2 libraries we have one is departmental libraries and another one is central Library Classroom is too good with ac and projector based teaching Yeah intercollege compitition also given by college to participate there and also all sports held in our compus per year Actually all our clubs and groups of our college are run by students based on there participation in different clubs
Likes
- Faculty- All Profesors are professionals
- Student centric approach- The teaching method is very much student centric
Dislikes
- Politics in university- The influence of various Polictial parties are a curse for the university.
- Lack of Practical Infrastructure- Many practical classes are mismanaged due to lack of Practical infrastructure.
Campus Life:
The overall experience was very nice, the batchmates and seniors are very friendly and supportive. The social life had many aspects, the students needs to focus on the good sides only. The Sports and Extracuricular activities are offered with lots of opportunities. There are many social clubs present in the university.
Likes
- The freedom of choosing which classes to attend and which to not freely
- The syllabus is alligned with the syllabus of gate examination and research
Dislikes
- Nothing
Campus Life:
The campus social life is better than most state government colleges . Although when compared to IIT s , it is less attractive . Annual fest take place (both cultural - known as Sanskriti and tech - known as Srijan). Many clubs are present such as entrepreneurship club , finance club ,etc.
Likes
- The flexibility and teaching style of professors. Whenever I had a doubt be it in course curriculum or related to extracurriculars, I would always find a professor by my side. Even if someone missed labs, he/she could do arrears for the missed lab.
- The strong friendship and bonding that the students shared among themselves.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum is more extensive than other colleges and GATE syllabus.
Campus Life:
Classrooms are well-endowed with good sitting benches and tables and good blackboards for writing. There are also projectors in every classroom for presenting pdfs and ppts. Football, cricket, and basketball are widely played with annual competitions held and there are even state-level opportunities if you perform well. There are many student-run clubs and societies like IEEE, XLR8, E-Cell, JUSC, etc. for the technical ones with great activities that will help your career growth too. Other than that, there are other clubs too like Dance, Debate and others which you can join based on your passion.

- Beautiful Campus for educational purpose and also for reserach
- Laboratory are more satisfactory for research and educational purpose
Dislikes
- The campus is open to all that is unfair
- Class attendance must be avail to be full
Campus Life:
Many festivals are organised by the electrical engineering department and the whole campus also. like Sanskriti, convolution, freshers, srijan etc. Most of the books are available in the central and departmental libraries. Smart boards must be used in the classroom, which will also be beneficial for us. Sports activities are also done here. Many types of social groups, coding clubs, and student portals are done by Jadavpur faculties and students.
Likes
- The faculty and professors are very helpful, they teach very efficiently helping the students grow.
- The campus life, though politics goes on, the greenery, the playgrounds and different courts along with 7-8 canteens which are very affordable
Dislikes
- A lousy government system for every minor inconvenience outside the dept. the offices are more focused on the timings and sometimes are not regular
Campus Life:
The fest of JU are grand being held for almost 4 weeks, by the 3 faculties and even clubs differently. The fest called sanskriti is held by by the three faculties one after the other, with each faculty taking charge and holding it for atleast a week. The fest brings in various artists and small businesses and makes it a very lively campus with people bustling. Even the clubs hold a fest. The sports area is also very effective as every year the university select the best students to participate in different sports for the university games at the national level. The clubs are very active in the campus, holding seminars and exhibition from time to time.
Likes
- The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields.
- Attendance policies are generally lenient, providing flexibility. However, attending classes is beneficial, particularly for core subjects
Dislikes
- The campus is situated in a somewhat inconvenient location, with no nearby bus stops.
- The Salt Lake campus is less popular and lacks the vibrant ambience of the main campus.
Campus Life:
Main highlight of saltlake campus is CIIPPUS, and technical event like SRIJAN. The range and accessibility of books is satisfactory. The ground of saltlake campus is also one of its highlights. There are many clubs to join like jusc (jadavpur university science club), chess club, IEEE, etc.
Likes
- I like the teaching method and also like the student friendly behaviour of faculty members in my college
- I think due to huge infrastructure, as a student we will thankful for using all digital opportunities like wifi, digital library etc
Dislikes
- Some subject have no right teacher, I hope the vacant seat of teacher will fill up soon.
- I don't like the whole system of management of APC Roy Polytechnic college
Campus Life:
Some days ago, about in March we enjoyed the new year program. we enjoyed it. All needy books of diploma also some b tech books are available in library. Besides college have organised sports tournament in three time of one year.
Likes
- Gives you freedom for being creativity, doesn't believe in rote learning.
- In context of English the classes are interactive you can approch people with your interpretations
Dislikes
- The ambience is a bit mundane, college has a major smoking culture
- You might feel out of space if you do not gel in naturally
Campus Life:
There is annual fest in Jadavpur university called "sankriti" Its like a month long fest. There are games, quizes, paper presentation, dance, sports. Apart from this there are other fests also. Jadavpur is famous for its students involvement im MUN and other debating programees. Sports and social groups are also very active
