New Delhi: Jadavpur University organised its vibrant and extensive five-day student festival, AFSU Sanskriti'24, from March 12 to March 16, 2024. This event features diverse activities, including 15 dynamic student competitions ranging from extempore speaking, quizzes, and debates to artistic endeavours like rangoli making and wall painting. 

In addition to this, the AFSU Sanskriti'24 at Jadavpur University covered dance talent, Eastern and Western music, street plays, tug of war, and treasure hunts, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the exhilarating competitions, AFSU Sanskriti'24 featured enriching academic seminars, captivating film screenings, and engaging theatre festivals, fostering an environment that encourages intellectual exploration and artistic appreciation.

Moreover, the festival covered thought-provoking debates and discussions on relevant topics, providing a platform for participant exchange and dialogue.

The inaugural day of the festival commenced with great enthusiasm. It featured a spirited debate on the motion "This house believes that academia should be neutral," followed by an exhilarating extempore speaking competition. 

The audience was treated to captivating performances, including mesmerising dances and soulful Western solo musical renditions, showcasing the talent and creativity of the university's students.

Further enhancing the festival's appeal, Deepdeep Mukherjee's extravagant performance on the first night set the stage for an unforgettable experience as well as a lineup featuring Ichheymoto's '3 Stone' and the 'Sudhu Tomakei Bhalobese collective' on the Fresher's night, followed by Meghdol's performance on the final night of the festival.
