I chose this university because it was one of the top universities in India, it was close to my home and hence daily commute was possible for me and having an idea of the excellent campus life, drove me to prefer this university to others.

1. One of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal with respect to academic prowess and annual placements records (2nd Best in my opinion) 2. From the finance point of view, the output to input ratio is higher than almost any college in India. To put that in perspective, if you pursue Computer Science Engineering, you will get an average package of 20LPA after paying Rs 10000 to the college. 3. Unlike other engineering colleges, because of the presence of Arts and Science faculties in the same campus, there's a better chance of cultural growth in JU.

My University is one of the best in state and probably one of top tier as per the NIRF rankings. I choosed this university solely on two factors. First, it's cheap, as coming from a poor background coping up with fees at IIT or NIT was difficult. Second, the culture, Being a state run university the culture is not that mixed so I have very less problems mixing with teachers and other students. Job and career wasn't a criteria when I took it, if it was I would've taken IEE at JU which had a better placement scenario but is in Saltlake campus.

Main factors to join jadavpur university 1) best university in westbengal 2) mechanical department is best and has the oldest labs and biggest workshop in asia 3) avarage package is also good for core company and many research opportunity because of inter-department research placement for it companies is great with avarage package of 19 lakhs 4)fees just 10,000 for 4 year 5) faculty is good 6) in my home state 7) best college i can persue mechanical engineering 8) free campus 10) easily involve yourself in many co-carricular activities 11) our college has both arts science and engineering faculty which helps fot inter-deceplanary research 12) we have 2 campus with all modern equipment present

Organisation has always been questioned by student Union on any delay of work or any discrepance in their activities. Results at time has always been a dream for every one at campus and that too without any flaws. Anyway, student power has been there for overlooking such activities.

Best state University with minimal fees. Return of investment is best in country. Also great location and ranked in top 10 in NIRF rankings.one of the best colleges in India for CSE.Also liberal culture is an USP.

The college management is not very approachable and cooperative, especially middle management. As such, students face great difficulty in getting documents verified or issued by the administration.

Our university lacks in infrastructure. Many classroom have broken windows, benches but you can't complain for it if you paying only 250 rupees for your college academics. Though our low infrastructure lakr have witness better evenings than a pool.

Quite good and feasible. This university provides a high quality education in a very low fees. College management could be improved a bit.
