- The course structure is vast, The faculty is also very good, the laboratory course is also very good, all practicals are According to some theories taught in syllabus, the library is very good to use, thus it's one of the best universities in India
- In that way, the college helps you in the best possible way and also as soon as possible.

The total fees for an academic year, including the tuition fees is kept under 1860 over the years. With some additional examination fees (below 100) each semester. For a non hostel boarder this is all that they need to pay

- The campus of our university is one of the best, I must say. We have a much big campus at the centre of Kolkata city.The area of main campus & Salt Lake Campus are almost 60 acres & 26 acres respectively. We have a much green campus.
- There is always some activities in our campus. So campus life is much good.
Dislikes
- There is some deficiency in some of the laboratories' infrastructure in Physics Department. But compared to many other Indian institutions, the laboratories are much good.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The total cost of fees of the course, BSc in physics is 4,960/-. Here, the tution fees generally doesn't increase, it's a very rare case. There are many scholarships or financial aids are available for the students. One of the name of this type of scholarships is Jadavpur University aluminium Association scholarship. There is also some campus employment.

- Each and every person you meet in this campus has a different personality altogether. It's is like a heaven where genius scientists and wonderful artists dwell together

- The internal politics and Ideological wars has affects the universities reputation in the past few years
- Some unacceptable activities has sprouted in the campus which affects the academic atmosphere of the institute
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees here is really less as it is a State University and as for carrier opportunity in physics there are placements into various companies at the end of MSc. Even though placement rate is very low for our department. The placement cell in engineering departments is really good

- Due to lack of funds from Central and State Govt, the labs aren't well maintained
- The buildings are worn out but the university tries it's best to maintain despite lack of funds

The fee structure is nominal at Jadavpur University. The annual fees are less than 5000 rupees and exam fees are less than 100 rupees. The fee hike is very less. We get multiple scholarships. We have govt. as well as private scholarship opportunities. The university also waives tuition fees for those who are economically weak. The university's placement cell brings top companies and provides the highest package.

Besides this, one can apply for government scholarships like inspire scholarship, or any state scholarship. One can apply for an alumni scholarship. By applying this, one can get up to Rs. 20000/year.

That's not too much considering all other colleges. The college helps the minorities to catch up by various considerations in fees. The college has not particular scholarship but they help students to get other scholarships. It is a very handy college in terms of financial conditions.

The admission fees is around 2500 which is very very less as compared to other colleges. The college also helps us to get various internships and the campus job offered is well enough .

The fees are very reasonable. most probably 85 (Indian rupees) per semester. We have also a scholarship named "Alumni". Where the teaching fees are considered for financially weak students. Still, I am studying so I can't find a job now.

Since, Jadavpur University is a Government aided university,the fee structure helps everyone. In my case, I had to pay a mere Rs2000 for admission and Rs60 for examination purpose. The college always helps a student to get a scholarship which is quite rare. The Engineering students gets placed in companies of Microsoft, Google, TCS etc.
Course Curriculum Overview:
JU physics Department faculty probably out perform any of the engineering department. It has been equipped with basics infrastructure, finest faculty best student of the state. If you attend the classes regularly you will have a very bright future. The workshop classes provided all necessary equipments needed to understand the course in well maintained way.
