SRM University Chennai MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the student must include a minimum of three years of regular education after completion of 10+2 or equivalent.
Students can also apply for admission based on marks obtained in CAT/ SAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ TANCET.
Candidates with work experience will be given preference.

Step 1: Filling up the Application Form

Detailed steps of the SRM University Chennai MBA Admission Process are mentioned below:

Visit the official website of SRM IST Chennai – www.srmist.edu.in/admission-india/
Register and log in with the provided email ID and password.
Complete the application form with the necessary details and attach the required documents.
Successful submission of the application form will depend upon the payment of the application fee.
For online registration or downloaded forms, candidates need to pay INR 1200 either through e-payment or DD.
Upon successful submission of the application form, students need to save their application number for future reference.

Step 2: Appearing for SRMJEEM & Result Declaration

Once the application form is submitted successfully, candidates have to appear for the SRMJEEM 2024 examination as per the given slot and time. After the examination is over for each phase, results are declared online on the official website. Candidates have to enter their application number and password to check the results.

Step 3: Counselling and Admission Confirmation

Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be called for counselling. The seat allocation will be based on SRMJEEM scores, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other factors. After this candidates have to submit the required documents with payment of the admission fee.

Teaching method I like the most because the staffs teach us very easily to understand.
Extra curricular activities it help us to know alot of things.

Canteen - They provide little amount of food with high cost.
Hostel - Doesn't provide good quality of foods.

I was interested in business administration so I decided to take this course and the faculty is very good and the staff members are very friendly their classes also very good they teach us the way we understand easily each faculties are completed their PhD and have more than 5-10 years experience.. 6 months once they conduct our semester and it's kind of difficult to pass the exam but if we work hard and prepare for the exam we will definitely pass.

The transportation facilities (buses) are has to improve and should keep punctuality
They should allow some more time and opportunity for the sports and other activities.

I chose this course because of the love and interest that I have in the business and commercial fields. They had a huge faculty circle for all departments, and the faculty-student ratio was around 10:2. The faculties are well trained and educated in their own fields, they are so kind and humble to each and every student. The method of teaching is so excellent and attractive, that was helped me to learn more. They conducted so many tests and exams in a very often period, that it was very useful to train ourselves for the boards.

I chose this course because of my interest in the managerial field. Also, this course would help me in my professional course. For every 40 students, there are 2 teachers. The faculty is well qualified and have a doctorate. Term exams were held twice in 6 months.

No, SRM University does not offer any fee concession to the SC and ST categories students. However, there are need based scholarships as tuition fee waiver available for the students whose family income is below 2 lacs. The merit based scholarships are also available upto 100%.
