Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of the love and interest that I have in the business and commercial fields. They had a huge faculty circle for all departments, and the faculty-student ratio was around 10:2. The faculties are well trained and educated in their own fields, they are so kind and humble to each and every student. The method of teaching is so excellent and attractive, that was helped me to learn more. They conducted so many tests and exams in a very often period, that it was very useful to train ourselves for the boards.

Internships Opportunities :

I had an opportunity to attend a internship program with Amazon it was so good, and the management also tied up with more big industries for internships with stipends. We did more individual and group projects and it came very well, We had the opportunity to explore many ideas with the guidance of the faculties.

Placement Experience :

The management had a campus placement for the students, I had an opportunity in the final semester to attend a campus. They had a wide and huge offering companies like Amazon, Wipro and many private and multinational companies. There are so many higher postings and the average package offer is Rs.2, 50,000 - 5,00,000 p.a on that campus. There are above 75% of students are getting placement in big companies with higher profiles in campus. After getting my degree, I plan to start my own business with the ideas and plans I got from college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost for the course is acceptable, they charged me Rs.6,00,000 for the 2-year course that including the bus, exams, library fees and access to the systems and the campus internet. The management had a more scholarship option for the students. The scholarships are in the methods of percentage-wise in the bachelors. They provided more financial assistance through the banks to us and I got an inter-campus stipend job, that was well supported by my financial side.

Campus Life :

The annual fest was conducted in the March month for every year and named Milan The fest and cultural are conducted in a grand way, the management had a wide option program in the fest like singing, dancing etc, They have a pleasant and huge library department on campus, The collection of books is amazing and they strictly keep the entries of the book out. The Infrastructure and environment of the classrooms are so good, that helped us to focus and study well. The sports department is so amazing, They have many sports like football, cricket, chess many other indoor and outdoor games, and they conduct more inter-campus sports meets for every year. Extracurricular activities like (NSS) have helped me to learn more about social services. The students created their own social media platforms on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. They always engaged in that shared problems and queries, and solved them together.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are so good, they had a hostel building on their campus. They charged me around Rs.1,20,000p.a as hostel fees, The registration for the hostel is engaged in the admission process. The infrastructure of the hostel room is maintained well, they are also very punctual in the food supply for students. The hostel had an individual private restroom, lobby, and main hall and the hostel staff were so secure and supportive.

Admission :

They conducted an entrance exam for admission. I found an application form from this college's official website and they charged me Rs.200 for the application form. Reservation benefits are good, though the percentage I got in the exam. The cut-off marks are applied in the admissions, that was helped me to get a place.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are handled by the Placement team of our college. More than 100 companies visit the campus for placements. Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
