Eligibility Criteria
Nationality and Age: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.
Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination:
Applicant should have passed in Higher secondary examination (10, +2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with a minimum of 60% aggregate ( 3 subjects) in Physics (mandatory) , Mathematics (mandatory) and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular subjects in regular stream from any board within India , CBSE , ISCE , Matriculation , IB or NIOS

Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm studying biotechnology and the course provides good insights into the subject. It has different subjects like microbiology, cell, biology, bio processes, et cetera, et cetera, and they also teach a lot about it subject so that you gain a lot of knowledge on it too. There's a lot of internship opportunities and also a lot of echo curricular activities and workshops which you can actively participate and will increase your CV to.

- Cleanliness is the. Hallmark of SRM. They maintain it nicely
- Staffs are well equipped and they support us in all the causes
Dislikes
- Nothing to say much. The toilets had to be repaired.
- The ground has to be trimmed and the canteen. needs additional space

Curriculum wise that college maintains the standard. The practical part of the science subjects are really capturing because they help us in maintaining the rythym of the course till the end. Really this atmosphere helps me to study

Courses are designed for the students to easily get placement offers in company like Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini and etc and exams are coming months gap in order to make sure that students that getting along with subject and it's knowledge

The courses and the regulation is very up to date and changes when ever necessary SRM makes sure the students have the most recent knowledge of their subjects Helps in research a lot and is a very good quality for my research based courses

- The faculties and facilities are so good and they give you a feel good environment
- The food in the hostel and the canteen foods are best. The basic need is the food which is so good for everyone and ypu will get all the state foods in the surrounding at walkable distance
Dislikes
- There was no AC during my 2nd to final year. It was tough during summers and fans were not enough
- There are plenty of ppl who smoke in the campus

I like the curriculum of the course as i was interested in the biotechnology degree and the matched my interest and they were well structured and i after that i did my masters and the faculty helped me a lot with my application process. You can choose masters or placement. I didn't feel any difficulties with exam as they all are structured for every semester

In terms of education the college does a good job with the relevance of the subjects to its practical base theory subjects are paired with relevant lab to enhance the learning by performing practical work, it gives a better understanding of the course and co relation of the education to its real world application

- SRM university has a very huge campus, with very good infrastructure , it has a huge library with every department having its own labarotories
- The campus has several other activities going on apart from studies, you can enjoy your college life very well, talking about food, you can get the best and cheap food, which is a very notable feature 😂

- Class schedules, which keep Changing and you don’t have a fixed time to attend classes, in some people’s cases this is Good, but I didn’t get it much

The curriculum followed, keeps updating according to the board,so the projects and exam are depending on the curriculum. You don't get much of hurdles in facing the exams so chill, moreover try to adjust and gain more internals because that's the deciding factor in your finals

- Mostly the lake is not clean daily they clean a week

Biotech is very rare course most of the students choose to became doctor and engineering nobody think to choose this course so compitition is less and you may get good opportunity and experiences and genetic engineering is very rare course with good future
