We had many assessments throughout a semester, but now it has been relaxed to 2 tests, one mid term and end term. CREs, intra ADRs, intra Moots and other competitions are of given the importance needed.
Experienced faculty for almost all subjects and the quality gets better as one move to successive years of his law school journey. The course curriculum is pretty rigorous. We have 4 cycles of Continuous assessments, Mid-semester, and courtroom exercises too. Teachers are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The standards of exams are high and students have to study hard to score good marks. The minimum passing GPA is 5.5. The semester is out of 10 GPA, and it is not high scoring. The average CGPA ranges from around 7-8 GPA. Because of these great teacher and their teaching skills, the campus is well-known all over India.
The faculty in the area are well qualified and with so much experienced. Every faculty has expertise in their own subjects. The course curriculum is good for the law students and even the academics. All faculties are good
The curriculum of my program includes 2 arts subjects and 4 legal subjects each semester. The faculties are very experienced in their respective fields. Much industrial exposure is not required in this specific course.
Though our college is owned by State Government, but it runs solely on it own and therefore the fees is more than what a tradition state runned college should charge. The fees for a semster is around Rs. 1 Lakh which does not include food charges.
The course seems easy but time plays an important role here. The main focus should be on current affairs and Legal reasoning. Though maths consist of only 20 questions but it is the one which decided that which NLU you get in.
Despite being a government college the fees structure is very expensive. Per semester fees is around 1.5 lakh. On top of that , there is no central mess of university and one has to pay for each meal that costs around 75k per year. The fees are glass barrier for students hailing from poor background. I am a ward of ex-armyman but I have to get loan sanctioned for pursuing studies.
All the National Law universities are very expensive because the law is a very expensive fruit in a country and only top middle-class families can afford this. The fee of National Law University Jodhpur is a bit on the extensive sided around rupees 200000 per year which is like way too much for a middle-class person.
Between NLIU Bhopal and NLUJ, the latter is slightly better in terms of certain parameters.
If you want to pursue Judicial Services, Civil Services, Litigation, or LLM later on then NLU J is the better choice.
