Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur offers various scholarships to the students enrolled in its two-year MBA program based on their merit, financial need, and category. IIM Udaipur MBA Financial Assistance
IIM Udaipur extends financial assistance to students who need more finance to pursue their MBA. Students with an annual household income below INR 4,50,000 are eligible to apply for financial assistance at IIM Udaipur. It can also be availed by other students who are facing severe financial difficulties.
IIM Udaipur offers financial assistance in the form of tuition fee waivers for MBA whose amount is determined depending on the assessment of the needs and requirements of the students. Candidates can also seek loans through major banks to cover most of the tuition fees of IIM Udaipur MBA.
IIM Udaipur Ph.D. Financial Assistance
IIM Udaipur offers a full fellowship to Ph.D. students that covers tuition fees, accommodation charges, other program expenses, and a stipend for a living allowance. The institute also funds international exposure programs for the students as well.
The various forms of financial assistance provided for Ph.D. at IIM Udaipur are:
- Accommodation: Ph.D. Students at IIM Udaipur will be offered single accommodation free of charge.
- Monthly Stipend: Students will receive a monthly stipend of INR 37,000 for the first two years, INR 40,000 on clearing the comprehensive exam, and INR 44,000 after proposal defense.
- Laptop/ PC Allowance: The students will also be provided a one-time allowance of up to INR 50,000 to purchase a Laptop/PC.
- Contingency Grant: They will also be liable for a contingency grant of INR 50,000 to purchase books, research materials, hardware, software, stationery, etc. in the first year and INR 25,000 from the second year onwards until the end of the fifth year.
- Research Funds: Ph.D. students are also eligible for research funds up to INR 1,50,000 for conducting their dissertation-related research.
- National & International Conference Funding: Students will also be eligible for a grant of INR 20,000 per annum to attend national conferences/seminars, and a total of INR 2,00,000 for four years to attend international conferences/seminars (outside India) subject to the acceptance of their research papers.
IIM Udaipur Ph.D. Semester Abroad Program
The Ph.D. Semester Abroad Program is a unique offering in IIM Udaipur that is not currently available at any other IIM. IIM Udaipur will fund an international immersion for up to two students in a year based on their merit enabling them to spend four months at an esteemed university abroad. The program will cover up the travel costs, living expenses, medical insurance, and contingencies for the period.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Tution fee at my time from 2018-20 was 2 lakh per trimester which comes to 12 lacs for the course. Apart from this there is an additional hostel and mess charges which comes around 25000-30000 per trimester. Now the total fee has gone up around 20 lacs for the MBA program. There is a scholarship program for students belonging to poor families with a max allowed familiy income. There is a placement department and a team which conduts the placements during 5th and 6th trimester and the current average CTC offered is around 20 lacs.

- Campus life is amazing. You will enjoy like nothing. These will be the best 2 years of your college and you will not forget them to the rrst of your life, People here are not that intelligent but they are fun to hangout with,
- It is the best new IIM, the city is great and people come from far away to roam around Udaipur.
Dislikes
- Case competition culture is not at all present. No body cares about case comms and it is a big concern for an MBA college
- Quality of students is sub-par. The students are not great at all. People here mostly care about other things then studies and placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Total fees for the course is around 22 Lakh and you will also spend around 1.5-2 Lakh in the course duration atleast.You might think that it wont be the case but trust me, when it comes to MBA there are a lot of parties and other expenses even though you have paid for everything beforehand. There are scholarships floated after getting into this college but they are mostly for reserved category people. If you are from general then forget about the scholarship.

- Infrastructure is still under development. Sports and other activity areas can be improved.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The total college fee is rupees twenty two lakhs for a two year mba in IIM udaipur. There are some scholoarship opportunities for deserving candidiates. There is no in-campus jobs for any student in any of the IIM Bschools in India as per my Knowledge

- The campus is beautiful and picturesque nestled in the Aravalli hills. The hostel accommodation are nice. All students get their own rooms with all the basic facilities and cleaning services.
- The faculty members are extremely helpful and understanding. Always ready to guide. Many of them have vast and tremendous experience.
Dislikes
- During monsoon, the campus gets insect-prone. It can become a problem for few students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Currently, the fee is 22 lacs. It is increasing every year, as many other IIMs are doing. There are various scholarship opportunities for meritorious students, who top their classes and overall as well. There is provision for financial assistance also for people who needs them. The institute checks the eligibility and provides it accordingly. As with most IIMs, the campus placement is quite good here. It has been achieving 100% placement records year after year.

Fees are slightly at the higher end as compared to that of the New IIMs, but taking an educational loan is very easy with floating interest rates. Many banks also have their desks on campus during the Induction and Registration process. Scholarship and Finacial Assistance can be availed by providing relevant proofs and the process is quite smooth.

Nowadays every premier B-school is increasing its fee year after year. They say the fee hike is in correlation to the average CTC of the previous year. Which is good for the college, but these hikes I dont feel are justified always.

IIMU has a career development service team which assists in campus placements.

The fee hike at the college is minimal as far as I feel, students can easily get loans upto 40 lakhs from the bank with a good moratorium period at least the rates possible since IIM Udaipur is a top-tier college, banks will contact you on their own for loans and the whole process is very smooth. The loan spans over 15 years which put students at ease.

IIMU has agreements with leading business schools in France, Germany and Norway for reciprocal student exchanges. Students spend a full semester on the exchange and scholarships are available to defray some of the costs. These are some Partner University:
