About IIS University
IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, was established in 2009 and is one of the leading institutes of the country located in Jaipur. It has been accredited by the NAAC and recognized by UGC. With about 4500 students enrolled in various programs, the university has a total of 14 departments offering UG, PG and Research programs in the fields of the Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences, and Commerce and Management along with several professional courses like Bachelors in Education, Fine Arts, Journalism, etc. This year, the University has also introduced several new professionals and co-educational programs such as Library and Information Science, Forensic Science, and a Diploma in Clinical Psychology. In addition to their degree courses, the candidates can also opt for Diploma/ Certificate programs.
Admission to these courses is done on the basis of merit scored in the last qualifying examination. A one-year professional diploma in Clinical Psychology has been approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India, admission to which is done through an entrance exam followed by a Group discussion and Personal Interview round. Admission to MBA is based on valid scores in CAT/MAT examination followed by a GD/PI round. Admission to Ph.D. is through Research Entrance Test (RET). The University also offers scholarships for meritorious/National Level Sports Achievers.
The University follows the semester system and its academic year is conducted in two semesters, Odd & Even. The Odd semester starts in the month of July and extends until December, while the even semester begins in the month of January and ends in the month of June. The theory and practical semester-end examination are conducted in the month of November-December (Odd Semester) while during the even semester the examination is held in the month of April-May. The results of the semester-end examination and supplementary examination is uploaded on the website of the University within 30-35 days after the commencement of the examination. Candidates seeking admission in any of the courses will require to fulfill the basic eligibility requirements. One can apply through the online application portal available on the official website of the university. They must submit the duly filled-in application form along with the prescribed registration fee. Admission is granted on the basis of merit scored in last qualifying examination. However, for MBA, admission will be granted on the basis of CAT/ MAT. The admissions in Ph.D./ M.Phil is done on the basis of the Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the university. - I chose the psychology course because the faculty members here are very nice, very supportive, and very talented.
- It was great to work over there. The things they make you learn in this internship are just awesome.

- I have not availed any loan facility because I didnt need it as the fee structure is not that expensive. Thats why I dont have any idea about the loan facility. However, scholarships are provided to students based on their performance

one must be 12th pass for bachelors and graduate for post grad. the admission process iss easy as we need to fill only an admission form available at the reception or on the university website. Though there should be more members to the admission team then there are now.

The eligibility is very simple. This university mostly takes direct admissions so you must score more than 50% in your 12th boards to seek admission in this university. The application process can be done both offline and online. The offline medium provides you with an opportunity to have one to one counselling session with one of the faculty members.

Eligibility was based on the percentage you obtained in boards for BCA. Application form and others information can be available on University's website or can be obtained in hard copy from the University. Examinations were held every semester. Each semester has two exams, mid term and end term exam.

- There are many societies in the university like cultural society, theatrical society, dance society also known as mudra and many others which provide overall development of the student not just academically.
- Many professional courses like journalism, designing (jewellery and fashion) provide a whole experience for the students.
Dislikes
- There are exams all year long. You will not have any time to prepare for competitive exams, although many people i know do prepare but it affects their performance in college.
Admission:
There was a college entrance exam by IIS though I didn't take it my admission was just by application form and fees. Students can take any course they want. The admission process can be done both online and offline though I would recommend for offline process as the college also provides councelling free of cost. The exams occur twice per semester and they ask what is taught in the class.

- I don't like the rules they have created. They have created a very strict rules and regulations.

The eligibility of the course was above 70%in 12th boards and I guess it's quite easy for students to apply for the course. I have found the application form at the admission office in the college. The application form fees was 500/- . 4 exams are scheduled 2 CA's and 1 mid sem and second is semester end exam that is the final exam of semester

The Admission process did not involve any major steps. It was simple and smooth. A form was filled out and a registration fees of Rs.1,500 was submitted at the time of purchasing the form. The form is easily available at the college office where teachers are also available to guide you throughout the process and eligibility of the course All necessary information is provided by the teachers as they guide you throughout the form filling process.

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 years full-time MA program candidate must have a bachelor's degree (French with one of the electives/ DELF-B1/ Advanced Diploma in French with 48% in the aggregate of the qualifying exam or 55% marks in the subject in which admission is sought).
MA Clinical Psychology is not offered in IIS Deemed to be University.
