About IIS University
IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, was established in 2009 and is one of the leading institutes of the country located in Jaipur. It has been accredited by the NAAC and recognized by UGC. With about 4500 students enrolled in various programs, the university has a total of 14 departments offering UG, PG and Research programs in the fields of the Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences, and Commerce and Management along with several professional courses like Bachelors in Education, Fine Arts, Journalism, etc. This year, the University has also introduced several new professionals and co-educational programs such as Library and Information Science, Forensic Science, and a Diploma in Clinical Psychology. In addition to their degree courses, the candidates can also opt for Diploma/ Certificate programs.
Admission to these courses is done on the basis of merit scored in the last qualifying examination. A one-year professional diploma in Clinical Psychology has been approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India, admission to which is done through an entrance exam followed by a Group discussion and Personal Interview round. Admission to MBA is based on valid scores in CAT/MAT examination followed by a GD/PI round. Admission to Ph.D. is through Research Entrance Test (RET). The University also offers scholarships for meritorious/National Level Sports Achievers.
The University follows the semester system and its academic year is conducted in two semesters, Odd & Even. The Odd semester starts in the month of July and extends until December, while the even semester begins in the month of January and ends in the month of June. The theory and practical semester-end examination are conducted in the month of November-December (Odd Semester) while during the even semester the examination is held in the month of April-May. The results of the semester-end examination and supplementary examination is uploaded on the website of the University within 30-35 days after the commencement of the examination. Candidates seeking admission in any of the courses will require to fulfill the basic eligibility requirements. One can apply through the online application portal available on the official website of the university. They must submit the duly filled-in application form along with the prescribed registration fee. Admission is granted on the basis of merit scored in last qualifying examination. I have applied in many colleges, but this college was the best in terms of studies and teachers guidance. The teachers are very good to help each and every student in exam days to study all the things some of the problems are solved in the day before the examination. I have not rejected from any colleges. I have just selected by myself for the terms of my studies and future. The overall college admission process was very easy. The staff was very good and the seniors of this colleges are very good and helpful to get overall experience in the college. Most preferred students are rejected in terms of their backlogs and their low percentage in graduations.

I got selected in delhi university also but i chose to stay in my home town as the college here are also good and they give support to sports players as well sports is a major of this college so any student involved in sports should consider going here

Actually this is the only college i have applied to , because , it was a very renowned college and i just wanted to do a simple Bsc degree , so i thought why don't i do it from my home state. You can apply for a undergrad degree with your 12th scorecard , You don't need to give any entrance or something . During the admission process , it was really easy for me to choose because they had their counselling members sitting over there to guide you for your future, that which degree to choose and which is suitable for you.

It's a girls college and it's very hustle, though the college is good in extra curriculum activity, the events there are very enjoyable and the college life there is very happening, though campus is small and there u can't go out before 12pm and if you go home in bus u cannot go out of the college before 3:30pm.
