Chitkara University BCA Course

Chitkara University offers a BCA program for the duration of 3 years. The BCA curriculum at Chitkara University is curated keeping in view the requirements of the IT industry. The curriculum has components such as core Computer Science courses, programming languages, application-oriented courses and soft skills courses make the curriculum complete. The final semester of the program is devoted to a project which can be carried out at the software industry or in the University itself. In addition to this, the students are also taught to carry out analysis and synthesis involved in Computer Systems, Information Systems and Computer Applications. Apart from the regular program, Chitkara University also offers an integrated program in BCA+MCA for the duration of 5 years.

The eligibility criteria for the full-time BCA program is as follows:

10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
The candidates will be selected based on Personal Interviews.
The university also accepts Pearson or SAT scores.

Faculty members are very good and helpful they will help you but will not run after you.
Companies like Amazon Infosys Google come and take students with them and gave a good amount of stipend to them but you need to have a good amount of projects that showcase your intelligence in the project.

Dislikes

The MCA batch is provided with some internships but for the BCA batch, it's even worse.

Their curriculum is very best, proper mentioned about all the sllaybus and marks breakdown for exams is also given in it. All the subjects they mention are already in use in industry level. Teaching method is best if you still are not able to understand then you can easily get video rampaged to it on YouTube.

Attendance criteria. they demand very high attendance and their supplementary is 2500 per subject

Course is good,I love coding that's why I choose these. They give us good free time to evaluate our potential. Teachers are very less supported and attendance criteria, please change this criteria for those student who is good at studies good marks in internal ,you can increase the passing percentage.

the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that there were practical subjects also like pcat which was related to computer hardware and installations of component of a computer.by the use of practicality of these curriculum a student get ready for the real world situations. the area to improve is to involve more student interactive curriculum not a theory based .difficulty of exams are moderate and easily passable

Talking about student ratio in my particular course is almost okay 3. Most of faculty Staff is Phd holders and method of teaching is good as they understand the students problems 4. In my course there 3 types of exams 2 Msts One end term examination Final Exam this tym was hard to pass
