NEHU M.Sc: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Our Universal Northeast University Centre University I got admission by cracking CUET exam and the admission is based on c u e t mark the admission fees is not that high it's only 4600 and I got hostel also they to 7200 something just could college with best teachers that always help and Central University for higher education I am doing my Masters in statistics

Fees for 1st year MSc programme is ?6220 Tuition fees is ?3.3k For MA tuition fees is ?3.4 k For MCom. Tuition fees is ?3.4 k For scholarship - student aid fund is available for financial assistance to deserving and poor students .

The fees in NEHU is quite affordable as for whole 2 years program its less than 10,000. There are many scholarships programs available though National scholarships Portal and also GAT -b qualified students get a amount of 5000 every month.

The tuition fees in our college are a little bit high for me so I want to decrease our fees. For the completion of this course, I will spend nearly 5 lakhs because I am staying in PG too. Fortunately, I applied for a scholarship ie NSP centrally sponsored post-matric scholarship and I got 35000 around for the first year but for the second year, I don't get yet.

Syllabus is not much updated for PhD course. I guess it need modification. Industrial exposure is good enough for students. All the faculties are good and helpful. But some teachers are bias towards gender and of course in lab environment also, even 1/2 of the them doesn't treat their own students equivalently.

FELLOWSHIPS/ SCHOLARSHIPS/STUDENT?S AID FUNDJunior Research Fellowship (JRF) are open to candidates who are not more than 35 years for men and 45 years for women as on 1st July and have obtained a Master?s Degree of a recognised University securing a minimum of 55% marks and have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET). UGC may also award fellowships to research scholars who may have cleared NET. A few NEHU Postgraduate Scholarships are available to meritorious students who have passed their Honours degree examinations securing a minimum of 55% marks and are pursuing their postgraduate studies at NEHU. The University at its discretion may also award a scholarship to a fresh candidate of the final class taking into account his/her performance at the previous examination if he/she has obtained at least 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST students). A student who is in full-time employment will not be eligible for these awards or scholarships.Financial assistance to poor and deserving students is provided under Students? Aid Fund for payment of tuition fees, examination fees, purchase of text books, stationery expenses; to meet hostel changes, expenses on clothes and emergency medical expenses; or to grant interest free loans for deserving students and to meet any other needs of the students considered to be genuine by a special committee constituted for the purpose.

I did not apply for the scholarships (or education loans) that the college/university provided because I wasn't from the state and therefore not eligible. So I'm not sure about the criterion and the sum provided.

No i haven't get any scholarship from the university. There is scholarship for st/sc students. Some of my friends got it. The university offer fellowship for the research scholars. Yes a loan facility is offer by the university for the poor students.

For scholarship we try only once and we haven't got till now and the scholarship we applied is NEC.but the payment is still pending we have no idea when we will get since we are fresh so no idea about this.

There are various scholarships available in the university. The government of Meghalaya also gives scholarships for minorities, tribes of North East and also the dean of students welfare also gives a common scholarship for all students of 3000/year.
