Ans. Manipur University offers Bachelors Of Physical Education And Sports under the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science. With an intake of only 63 students, Manipur University has an age criteria for admissions into the sports UG degree. An applicant must be below the age of 21 years as of July 1, 2033 to be eligible for admissions. This age criteria is relaxable up to 23 years for SC/ ST and foreign applicants.

Ans. Manipur University offers integrated courses under the Department of Dance and Music, Foreign Language, Vocational Studies and Skill Development. The courses within the School of Humanities have a duration of 5 years. The specialisation with seat intake or as follows.

1. 5-Year Integrated M.A in Dance with 28 seats
2. 5-Year Integrated M.A in Hindustani Music with 28 seats
3. 5-Year Integrated M.A. in Korean with 50 seats

Ans. Manipur University is a central university which admits students on the basis of CUET and /or MUET scores. The seats reserved for Manipur University Entrance Test applicants (MUET) is 50% of the total seats. Similarly, applicants who have applied through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) have 50% reservation in a course. Interested applicants can apply for both the entrance tests, whichever score is higher will be considered by the university. 

Ans. Manipur University offers 50% seat reservation to each of the entrance tests. However, few course admissions are solely based on the Manipur University Entrance Test (MUET). The merit list for diploma and certificate courses will be based on MUET scores only. Therefore, applicants with only CUET scores cannot apply to any diploma or certificate courses in Manipur University. 

Ans. Manipur University admits students on the basis of entrance and practical scores. These courses lie under the Department of Dance and Music. The 5 Year Integrated M.A in Hindustani Music, 5 Year Integrated M.A in Dance and M.A in Dance selection process includes practical tests at the time of admission. The weightage shall be 70% from the test score and 30%from the Viva Voce/Practical scores. The merit list is prepared according to the above mentioned weightage.

Ans. Manipur University accepts national level entrance tests for the MBA program. Therefore, MBA aspirants must have CAT/MAT/ CMAT/XAT/GMAT scores. If an applicant does not have any above-mentioned national level examinations, they shall appear for Manipur University MBA entrance test. Additionally, the selection criteria is based on the group discussion and personal interview scores. The specialisations include Linguistics, English, Hindi, Statistics, Education, Life Science, History, Geography, Sociology, Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Physics, Computer Science, Forestry and more. PhD admissions across all the subjects are done on the basis of QET or NET/CSIR scores. The shortlisted candidates’ list will be announced on the official website of Manipur University. Moreover, selected candidates are called for an in-person interview round. 

Ans. Manipur University PhD program admissions are based on QET scores. The QET or Qualifying Entrance Test is Manipur University, pre-PhD admission test. Candidates shortlisted in this test will be called for an in-person interview with the concerned authorities. No applicant is exempted from the interview round.
