Course Description
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an under graduate course in the stream of nursing. The duration of the bachelor’s degree in nursing is of 4 years.
The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The average fee of the course is from 8000 to 30000 INR per year.
Nursing staff can find employment in areas like hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and health departments, railways and defense etc
Duration
The duration of the course is of 4 years, however the course is divided into two parts
Bsc (Basic) -This is the regular course where the duration is of 4 years.
Bsc (Post-Basic) -It is further subdivided into two categories
Regular-This course is of 2 years which consist of 10+2+General Nursing and Midwifery (G.N.M).
Distance- This course is of 3 years which consist of 10+2+G.N.M+2 years of experience.
What is the course about?
The objective of the course is to demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive nursing care based on problem solving approach in the hospital and community. In this way a person can practically contribute a lot to the society.Since it involves nursing of the wounded or ill, a lot of sectors require these graduates hence this profession is also in great demand and the demand is only expected to increase in the future as well. In India the course is registered under and is controlled by Indian Nursing Council.

- I like the campus and the environment Of the campus it is very nice and spacious i like the food court area which there is the sitting area also for the students and facilities as well . There are so many different kind of blocks for study for good.
Dislikes
- There are lots of greenery area which creates faul smell. And its quite irritating in rainy season . And we have go for one point to another because its so huge and big campus. The behavior of the mess staff is so pathetic they dont even cook the foo

Nursing is a hard profession. The curriculum is easy but diffit. This curriculum is all about studying human care and treating patit. Being a nurse will help us to understand about human care and society. We have more practicals and practices with is good for this field. We have 2 semester per year and exams are based on semesters.

- I like the Environment of the college. It was very cloudy and better environment for students, especially hostel students.We have various sorts of food stalls and many more things
- As a student there was a very good facility of library which I personally like very much
Dislikes
- I don't like the management of parking system
- Improper ventillation in our classrooms during summers

- The greenery in the campus and many images: Lights remain on at night till 10 pm without any interruption
- There is such good security here that we hardly face any problem.
Dislikes
- It is very hot in summers in the classrooms.
- Sometimes teacher's behavior are not good

The curriculum is vast,easy and difficult. Nursing is easy but difficult. The curriculum is all human beings body, hospital care and patients care for society. The curriculum and course is really interesting and hard but fun

- Timing of the college sometime is not suitable sometimes
- Some Classroom are not ventilated properly

The curriculum is quite tough, but choose this course was the best decision. Nursing is more about practice and understanding human body and skills.Being a nurse is more about serving human being and society.

- The area is so spacious that from my department the canteen is very far
Course Curriculum Overview:
As my course is Bsc nursing Hons it's more about practical then from any note book.My decision of choosing this curriculum was to know more about human care in society and human body . From studying nursing it will definitely be helpful to help other humans during their medical condition. I feel there is no change to be done in teaching methods because the way teacher teach us is easy and understandable

I don't quite know when will the course last updated the industrial exposure here is quite good and talking about the faculty they are helpful and qualified they provide theoretical as well as industrial knowledge. The information about new technologies in the field of medicine.
