How good is ITM Gwalior for CS engineering?

I have a lot of friends studying CSE at ITM Gwalior. I can tell their views about academic culture/exposure and placement status. Before going into that here are some details about CSE at ITM Gwalior: Particulars ITM Gwalior Fees (total) 6.25 Lakhs Highest Package Offered 12 Lakhs Average Package 2-3 Lakhs Top recruiters JARO Education, Asian paints, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank Faculty and Curriculum The faculty at ITM is very poor as they lack specialization and qualification. Almost all the faculty at ITM Gwalior is B.E. only. This directly affects the curriculum of the course which is not so great either. However, teachers are very supportive. Infrastructure They have well-equipped laboratories and other infrastructural benefits. A lab dedicated to coding and programming is built for students to take additional courses which the school conducts on a regular basis. These courses give an edge to you over other students in Placement interviews. The recently established Center of Excellence will give extra benefits, as the students are selected to work on Live Company Projects through its collaboration with numerous MNC’s. Placement With more than 62,226 placement opportunities, 372 major industries, and MNC corporate recruiters, ITM has a very special place among other ivy-league colleges of our country. ITM conducts Expert Lectures, diverse seminars, International conferences every semester. This year 4 students were offered a package of 10 Lakhs by BYJUS. Placements are the only good thing at ITM. So if you want to get a decent placement then only go for ITM.

Some important points: Computer Science and Engineering is the best branch among all. The University brings some of the top MNCs for campus recruitment. Having said that, it depends upon personal choice. Some of you might like the Computer Science and Engineering course at ITM University, Gwalior and some of you might not. But, it is highly recommended to go for ITM Gwalior if you could not score enough marks for IITs, NITs, and other reputed colleges. You will not regret joining ITM Gwalior.

Which should one choose, VIT University, Vellore CSE or ITM University, Gwalior CSE?

ITM University is one of the emerging top private universities in the country. You might think that this is answer biased but personally I have no associations with any of these universities. ITM University has grown tremendously in the last 6 years. The guests that the University invites in the convocation ceremony are no ordinary people but an alumnus at the university and you will be surprised to see the names. Here are a few names of the alumni: Mrs. Aruna Roy (ex IAS Officer, recipient of Magsaysay Award) Rajat Sharma Yuvraj Singh Shri Ashok Vajpeyi Padmashri Govind Nihalani Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar Now, let us look at the comparison between the VIT University, Vellore CSE, and ITM University, Gwalior CSE. VIT is much older than ITM and thus, VIT outshines in case of reputation and facilities. The intake for CSE at VIT Vellore is 1200 but at ITM Gwalior, it is just 120. The infrastructure at VIT Vellore is much better than the infrastructure at ITM Gwalior. In fact, the infrastructure of VIT Vellore is one of the finest among all the colleges in the country. The fee at VIT Vellore is approximately 15 lakhs (hostel fee included) if you get selected through VITEEE (the entrance exam conducted by VIT). But if you go through the management quota or category system, you will have to pay a hefty amount of Rs. 30 lakhs, approximately. The fee at ITM Gwalior is Rs. 9 lakhs for 4 years (hostel fee included). Faculties are good at both institutions. There are faculties for M.tech and Ph.D. in both institutions. Do not join VIT Vellore through management quota paying such a large amount, join only if you make it via entrance exam because it will not be beneficial. ITM Gwalior provides you with good opportunities at a much lesser fee.

I'm going to join ITM University, Gwalior in BTech (CSE). Should I buy a Windows laptop or Apple Macbook Air?

If you are interested in programming and coding, then you can buy a windows laptop with decent specifications. It doesn’t have to be high-end. You can make it dual boot to get Linux as well. For development, Linux is widely used and compilers are available too. Some software work well in windows and Linux will be great for development.

Fee of the btech in computer science is 1 lakh 75 thousand per year also i am awarded by 15 percent off scholarship and the is increased this year only it will increase in every 3-4 years but my fee is 1 lakh 75000 for 4 year's

So the fee structure is based on your course based like I am a student of computer science so my fee is 8 lakh and the structure is rise by the year and also we get a scholarship on the basis of marks and also based on our category.

My Experience

The tution fees for the college is 80500 per year and it can be submit semester wise i.e approx. 41500 after apart from the tutuion there are other fees as well such fees for tap cell and for the other seminars and additional courses . The scholarship is also given by the college through the mp state government . The OBC's and SC/ST also recieves scholarship of approz 30000 also known as MPTAASC and the general Category students also recieves scholarship only if there JEE Mains rank is under 150000 the scholarship name is Medhavi Chatra Scholarship and recieves full amount of scholarship

The complete semester fees is 38500 . 30000 scholarship you will get in a year. 5000 caution money. 16000 tap cell placement fees. For st/sc It is totally free because they will get 80k scholarship so they don't need to pay anything And for the merit students they have to pay only 20k in a year they will also get also scholarship approximately 50k to 60k

yearly fees upto 155000 and the total cost of the course upto 620000 tution fees - 155000 caution fees - 5000 registration fee - 2000 admission fee - 9000 In my college they provided different kind of scholorshiops Early bird - upto 30% off on course fee for getting early admission. Defence Personals - upto 10-20% off on course fee if any parent was a defence personal. Humble - upto 10% off on course fee it provide by the college authorities. Merit Based - Upto 15% on course fee if you maintaine the good CGPA( 8+ ) through out the college

Itm university gwalior has a better facilities a fees is little bit costly but it's worth it end of it it just my dream to have a good college and be on a decent job i would like there one mare facility there bus they provide busses not in their there city also for another cities that will be easy for students that can't afford the hostel and pg for their budget so it's to go with the itm it's awesome
