Term exams is six months once. There will be 10-11 subjects where one has to maintain 80% of attendance in each subject . They conduct interims as internal exams after 3 months as the course or semester starts.
Because I was interested in agriculture as well as management, I chose agricultural marketing cooperation and business management. The faculty is excellent, and all of the teachers have Ph.D.. The exams are timely and rigorous.
3rd and 4th-year students. Many it bt companies, agriculture-related companies, many agri based seed technology companies, genetic, pesticide companies, etc offer a great opportunity for students, more than 60% of people get placements. My plan is to prepare for UPSC and it is very helpful to study agri BSc
University of agriculture science is the oldest agri university in Karnataka with 4 campuses. It has a beautiful campus of 1200acres in bangalore. The college has around 27departments related to agriculture and social science from which we can specialize on. I could make a list of negatives of the college such as poor administration efficiency, outdated infrastructure(there were literally 4 microscopes for a batch of 50 in genetics and pathology class), bureaucratic apathy where they don?Ûªt nt care for students at all. One of the most terrifying things are the marking pattern and examination where there are marks for attendance(just your physical presence is needed) and non synchronous exam pattern. The field practices are outdates with poor infra. Very few field visits and no encouragement to think out of the box. Boys hostel is too old and so are a few classrooms. Apart from this there are a few departments such as entomology and physiology which gives you freedom to do research and they do organize seminars. The department is studded with top class faculty with progressive mindsets. Regarding admission, it is through KCET and the dates of admission typically start from the month of june july in accordance with the list of results.
Good thing is college is located in beautiful environment and faculties are excellent. Degree is most valuable and lots of opportunities are available in Government and private sector.Admission process - based on 2nd PUC percent along with the CET Rank Seats are allotted.
Including an 8-semester performance, there is a chance of placement. Many government jobs will be offered for BSc agriculture and MSc agriculture students 30 % chance to get a government job, many private sectors also provide a job for them by a package of 30000 per month. I'm planned to work in any government sector to give my best for our farmers
It is Mainly based on agriculture aspects includes Crop production, Agronomy, crop breeding, horticulture, Farm Machinery and engineering, Crop physiology, food science, Agriculture Statistics, etc. It has good environment Surrounded by Greeny it was like Healthy it helps learn well, I think there is negligible bad aspects Admission through Entrance exam like KCET and ICAR entrance exam.I'm interested in agriculture so I preferred this course it is far better than any other courses and it also a professional course www.uasbangalore.edu.in
My teachers suggest me that there's a vast scope in Agriculture field.so that is why I got interested towards the university.and the other reason is it's near to my hometown.so I got more interest towards the university.
