Amrita, Bangalore is one of the five campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The campus is located on the outskirts of Bengaluru city in Kasavanahalli. The campus was established in 2003.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bangalore campus offers B.Tech programs at the UG level. At the PG level, the campus offers M.Tech, MBA-MS collaborative program, M.Sc. and MA courses. The campus also offers Ph.D. programs in 4 major disciplines. All the courses are offered under the Schools of Engineering, Business and Philosophy, Art & Culture.

The campus offers a full-time MBA-MS collaborative program. MBA is offered in 4 specializations by Amrita while MS in Management is offered in Business Analytics & Systems from University of Buffalo, New York, USA.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in any discipline to be eligible. TOEFL-IBT score of 79 or IELTS with 6.5 score overall or PTE with 55 overall score is also mandatory to be eligible.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bengaluru offers Ph.D. in 4 major specializations. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the Ph.D. is a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 60% aggregate marks.
Candidates are selected through the entrance test conducted by Committee for Postgraduate Programs (CPGP), followed by a personal interview with the CPGP. For Ph.D. in Management, Amrita conducts a Research Aptitude Test (RAT).
The Interview Committee examines the candidates’ background and aptitude for research. Based on their performance in the entrance test, interview and prior academic record, the Committee makes a recommendation to the CPGP. CPGP will then finalize the admission.

B.Tech Application Process
Candidates can apply for B.Tech in offline as well as online modes. Here’s the detailed application process:
Online Process
- Visit the official website
- Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab on the menu bar.
- Choose ‘B.Tech’ from programs offered under ‘Bengaluru’.
- Click on ‘Online Registration’ under ‘How to Apply’ section.
- Click on ‘Apply Now’ and fill the form for registration.
- After filling the form, click on ‘I Confirm’ button and proceed to upload the photograph in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee on the next page.
Offline Process
- Candidates may obtain the OMR application form from select sale outlets including Post office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank by paying INR 1000 in cash.
- The OMR application form can also be collected from the admission office by submitting a Demand Draft of INR 1000 in favor of “Amrita School of Engineering”, payable at Coimbatore.
- The form can also be obtained via post from Admissions Coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering with a written request mentioning the candidates’ communication address, phone number and email id, along with a DD.
- For payment through DD, candidates must write “B.Tech. Application,” along with their name and mobile number at the back of the DD.

The online application for M.Tech is a 3-step process involving Registration, Submission of Academic Information and Payment. Here’s the step-wise process:

- Click on “New User” for New User Registration.

- Some courses in 1st year which are not much relevant to that branch, even the students are increasing year by year I think there should be limited seats
- Canteen food taste is average, in hostels breakfast and lunch are good, but dinner is average because the dinner has same menu every day
Admission:
There is no application fees for the merit joining students, but they should pay fee for Amrita Entrance Examination that will be around 2k. Based on JEE,SAT scores also seat will be given. There are no reservation benifits at the time while I was joining. All had a same cut off score in AEEE. I got ECE first according to my AEEE score. As I was not interested in that I have joined through Management quota for CSE-AI. Then for students who wish to join through Management, It is required to pay 12k first to confirm the management seat as they are very limited. Then the process is same and they will guide through us

- It's an open campus so no need to get outpasses and all for basic needs itself you can go out and come back anytime by 9 pm
- Mess food is far better when compared to any other colleges even after having such a huge strength of students
Dislikes
- College is a bit strict , asking for id cards everytime
- It feels like a school if you are a couple and want to hang out in the campus
Admission:
For us the exam process was online . I applied for the AEEE exam organised by amrita vishwa vidyapeetham . Anybody can apply but they should meet some basic criterias like 75 percent in some subjects . After we got the exam results we applied for the counselling based on our ranks we got the seats alloted . Many rounds of counselling will be there to remove the students from list who dropped and give better branch or opportunity to the students. Everything was easy

Admission process depends on particular branch , your intermidate marks, 10th class marks, jee rank and the rank you get in the Amrita University exam. Anyone who have 75% above in both 10th and 12th are eligible. Amrita Exam is conducted every year.

- Food in the hostel is underated, and i feel it should be changed

Admission:
Firstly, you need to attempt the college entrance exam which is AEEE. This exam is conducted every year in 2 phases. Everyone can attempt 2 phases and best of those will be taken. Based on your result you will be alloted to a campus. The University gives allotment options, there you need to give the preferences based on your interests and the allotment will be done is 3phases. You can keep on chaning the preferences untill you get the seat. If your seat is not confirmed then your admission fees will be refuned that is 100000.

- There are no ac's in the classroom. Which may be difficult in summer.

The admission process was good and i have appired for the aeee entrance exam to get seat in this college and we need to a minimum of 1000 as the entrance exam fee.There will be two phases for the exam and if you get above 10000 rank in the test they you may get seat in the college.

Before applying candidates need to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the course they are intrested in .this typically includes passing AEEE exam with good rank or good jee percentile application form for the admission to amrita school of engineering can usually be found in the official website of the institution which is my amrita .edu applicants can fill the form accurately and submit it along with the documents and application fees within the specified dates the application fees vary depending on the course and category of the applicant demanding couse will be more . coming to reservation benifits ther are no reservation benifits if a candidate is getting good rank they will be priortized first the main entrance exam is aeee which is 2hrs exam will be at moderate level.good rank will give u the good slab which is fees reduction so if u get good rank the the fees will be according to that.

The admission process is quite simple as normal colleges . We just need to bring all forms and certificates to the college and submit before joining. The percentage should be minimum of 65 % in all . Then only I will be approved

To join in my collage you have two choices.the first is through their exam and the second Is through jee mains and the third is we know payment seat .In their website we have to register and write the online exam conducted by the college in the college if you're local resident or if you're outsider it will be in any near by college. You have get good marks in the exam and by that marks you will allotted a rank and that rank will help you to join in college easily.if you get less number less fees with your selected branch you will get .the exam will be moderated level ,you can write it .and with jee mains results also you can get admission in this college it also has a priority while applying to the college . As seats are limited you have to apply faster and if they're filled up you cannot join the college.

- course curriculum is very good as they only focus on what is required for your course.
Dislikes
- hostel food could be a bit better as it is not that good.
Admission:
There is no management quota in amrita so to get admission you should either write JEE or AEEE. admission criteria will be based on the above 2 exams. AI is currently the most trending course all accross banagalore. you can find the application form of AEEE exam on amrita website. if you get admission then your scholarship amount will be based on AEEE or JEE rank the lowest fee you can pay is 150000. AEEE is relatively easier than jee.AEEE exam has maths,chemistry and physics.

- Some faculty members are strict and discrete
- 75% attendance minimum,based on the course the classes maybe too long

Admission was through councelling based on my jee mains score The aspect of admission that I didn't like was there was no switching between the branches All the required details of admission are there in the college main website There is a separate exam conducted by college to get admission
