This is the best course regarding food and dairy technology. The best college for this branch is NDRI karnal in which I am studying. I think that the area and curriculum are very good there's no need for more massive changes.
The college has a faculty-student ratio of 1:30. I only chose this course because of its uniqueness and job prospects. Highly experienced and qualified professors teach us in our faculty. End term semester exams are moderate level and 50% score is pass marks.
I chose this course because this course is an evening branch of engineering and job prospects are much much high. The student and faculty ratio is 44:1. Highly skilled and qualified scientists selected from ASRB teach us and there is a mentor for 4 students each. Practical industry exposure is given through educational tours, in-plant training and ready dairy programs. Teaching is based on both industrial prospects and knowledge gaining. If you study well and follow professors' lectures thoroughly you can easily pass the term exams and the passing percentage is 50%.
Dairy Technology is a course not known to many. Though milk and dairy products is a common part of Indian culture yet many are unaware that such courses exists. So, I was intrigued to know what this 4 year course had to offer, thus I chose this over other. The college has a satisfactory faculty: student ratio of 1:30 . Other than the campus, the highlight of the Institute is it's faculty team, consisting of highly experienced and well qualified scientists, and Ph. D scholars who have a strong profile among all the major dairy institutes of India. As each semester is of six months, so the Mid terms are held in the third month, which range from 20-30 marks depending on the subject, usually it is objective and hardly subjective. The end term is at the end of each semester, which consists of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical. If one studies properly, it's not at all difficult to pass the exams, as most of the questions are repeated.
As our course is related with milk and milk products, itsmanufacturing, itsmicrobiology. In each year we have different subject related to different products like icecream, cheese. wehave practical for each subject. Faculitymembers are well educsted. They have PHD degree.
Very feasible. Nominal fees is charged for course work as well as hostel fee. Only food mess bill comes normal as it is student run. The student literally completes the course free of cost. They have very low fees but a decent scholarship programme.
Our semester wise fee is 2300 rupees which we have to pay through card and we have also 1000 extra for the insurance in the starting of each year. There are hardly any extra charges that we have to pay to the institute in order to secure an admission to the course.
The fee stri of the college is nominal. We had to pay a nominal amount of 3-6 thousand every year although the students which are not the residents of haryana are provided NTA scholarship of 3000 per month. So we can say that the fee is nominal. We had to pay for hostel in every sem which is 1000 per sem.
fee is one amongthe lowest in the country for BTech For B Tech it is just 5500 rupees including hostel fee in odd semesters and 2300 rupees in even semesters. It includes insurance fee, examination fee, hostel fee etc. Besides this a caution money of 10000 rupees is deposited at the beginning of 1st semester which is refundable.
