Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is a well known university of Gujarat. It is situated in the capital city of Gujarat and it has a vast, lush green campus of 100acres. I wanted to pursue my engineering from a good college so I took admission here.
Placement Experience:
In semester 7 we get campus placement. Many companies like reliance, Adani, ONGC, Infosys, and TCS, and any other companies come for placement. The average package is 6-7 lakhs and the highest package is around 15-16 lakhs.

I was very keen to join Computer engineering and Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University offered it with a good placement. The campus was also good with good faculties, so I took admission in this college.

Had heard a lot about Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. I got decent marks in JEE Mains and so I took admission in this university. With this my sister had also studied in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.

I had an opportunity to go out and live a great college life and then after getting graduated form a better college than this would have given me more opportunities but I had a restriction of not going out side Gandhinagar as stated above. Everything in this college is awesome except that sometime the professors are not able to deliver the content properly although they have great knowledge.

One of the best college for my field that is mechanical engineering and it is a deem college and I did not want to go to any GTU college because of the curriculum and practical. Also, the facility and the extra-curricular activities were good here.

One of the reason is my marit rank and I also interested to take admission in PDPU. PDPU provide great educational activities, different activities and great campus placement. Also the campus of PDPU provide world class facilities.

What is your review of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Gandhinagar (PDPU)?
One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.
- They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
- The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
- The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
- The campus has 3 libraries.
- Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
- Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
- Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
- The whole campus is wifi enabled.
- They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
- Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
