GNLU Admission 2024
GNLU Admission to all the courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels is entrance-based. Admission to Integrated BA / BCom / BBA / BSc / BSW LLB (Hons) and LLM programs based on the merit in CLAT UG and CLAT PG respectively. GNLU Gandhinagar conducts an admission test for admission to the PhD and candidates must further appear for a research proposal presentation and personal interview. Candidates qualifying in UGC NET / JRF / GPAT are also eligible for PhD admission at the university.

Admission:
The admission is done by giving a exam called CLAT Common law admission test, which is a national level exam. This gives admission into National law university of the Country. It is alloted according to the performance and cut off the respective college. There is Domicile reservation of 25% for DNH DD students. Other than this reservation of women is also provided.

- The campus is huge and is right next to PDPU university, making commuting very easy.

- Attendance are too strict and if one has less than 75% attendance, they have to call their parents.

CLAT is mandatory and for general students to get admissions in GNLU Gandhinagar rank has to be in top 500. Yes for reserver students such as students from backward class or students with physical disability, students ranked upto 7000 were also considered. Without CLAT score there's no way that one can enter any NLU forget just the GNLU.

I took admitted to in LL.M. in the year 2016. I got admission to one of the topmost NLUs in India i.e. Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar by passing through the CLAT entrance test. The eligibility for sitting for the CLAT PG examination is Bachelor of Laws with 50-55 % marks. One can find the application forms on clat.ac.in. One year LL.M from NLU Gujarat charged me Rs. 1,64,000/-

I gave my CLAT in 2019. I took my coaching from the career launcher in Hyderabad and prepared for the examination. The only eligibility criteria for CLAT is that you will have to finish your 12th standard with a minimum of 55%. A person with reservations has different criteria. Application fees during the time I gave the examination were 4000 per application. The dates are announced by the CLAT committee every year. So you will have to keep a check on the official website of CLAT.

Admission to GNLU gandhinagar through sports quota requires you to just fill a separate expression of interest form and provide your legit certificates for the same.
No, Kashmir University does not contact the candidates, but you can contact Kashmir University at 1942272096/ 1942272097 for queries.
If interested for admission to GNLU Gandhinagar UG/PG courses, you need to appear for CLAT-UG/PG exam respectively. However, admission to MBA is based on CAT exam at GNLU.
CLAT Round 2 seat allotment list has already been released by the GNLU on 27th of January 2023, while Round 1 list was released on 18th of January. You can check the official site for further details.
For admission to UG/PG Law programs, you need to appear for CLAT-UG/PG and for PhD program, you need to appear for NET/SLET exam.

GNLU Gandhinagar does not accept the scores of CMAT for admissions to MBA or any other courses. The university accepts the valid scores of CAT for admission to MBA.
