The course curriculum is highly relevant as Arts and Law have a great interface in a lawyer's life. Evaluation is done in 2 parts with 50 marks of projects and presentation and 50 marks written exam. We have smart classes enhances the quality of education.

Law honestly is a never ending studies as ammendments keep on happening. From the best of case studies that happened years back to cases that have changed the cours of our country like the state vs Nanavati Case or the Sairo Bano case, all such cases were discussed in our moot rooms. So course wise I don't see any complaints as the college has prepared us for the best in future.

Law has been my passion since my early teen years, seeing law programmes on tv and a penchant for reading and critical thinking influenced my decision to choose law. The curriculum in gnlu is updated every year and is tailored according to the needs of current times. We have two components of Evaluation in a paper, one is Internal continuous evaluation of 50 marks and the other is End semester exams of 50 marks.

I chose the IPR stream for doing my Master of Laws because I had a keen interest in commercial and trade laws. I was also slightly bent towards science, patents and inventions which led me to choose IPR for my master's. The overall strength of the LL.M batch at my time was 60 students. The faculty of GNLU is excellent, most of them are PhD (Law) qualified and very well-versed in legal research. The exam calendar used to be released prior to the start of the semester and accordingly exams used to happen.

I have been in law since the 10th grade, so I decided to give the CLAT examination in my 11th standard in order to get into one of the prestigious NLUs around the nation. The faculty in our university is quite good for the core law subjects, and all of them create a new interest in the subject they are teaching through their passion for the subject. Teaching methods followed by our professors in GNLU are mostly through classroom discussions and PowerPoint presentations. Our professors have completed their PHDs from some of the country's prestigious institutions and have an immense passion for their subject. They are eager to hear from the students about the new developments in their respective subjects and always encourage class discussions. They are also ready to have one on one conversations with the students and are always there to help the students with their doubts. Professors in GNLU have always been kind and student-friendly (of course with few exceptions).
I chose the course of B.A.LL.B (Hons.) due to my huge interest in political science and law. Talking about the faculty: student ratio, it is 1:5 in GNLU. Each faculty is highly skilled, experienced and qualified and are thereby eligible to teach in the premier law institute of the country. Each term has two assessments, one entails assignment submission and other is the end-semester examination. Both are of 50 marks each. Both, the assignments and exams are not very difficult to pass.
The curriculum of the college is to the point curriculum covers all the legal aspects and is fully industry-focused. The curriculum I designed to make us understand the importance of law in the administration of the country and in the corporate world. The faculty of the college are highly qualified and around 75% of the faculty are of Ph.D. level with a very good understanding of legal terminology and methodology. If we look into the age of the faculty members the average age of the faculty was around 40.
The course curriculum is 5 years integrated LLB so you will be doing 2 courses at once essentially and it's a demanding course so be sure before you join law school. They have classes from 9 to 1 with breaks in between.
The syllabus is always up to date. We are given many opportunities in college. Professors are very interactive and this makes studying law interesting. Also, course is well planned and divided over the semesters with the core subjects being introduced early so as to give an edge when it comes to moots and internships.
