Hostel infrastructure is commendable. We have 2 people in one room with a good amount of room space. Mess inside the hostel and a playground beside the hostel makes it more better. Hostel fee is 24000 per year.

Our hostel rooms provide very basic facilities. Girls get their own rooms from their 2nd year and boys share their rooms through law school. We have separate washrooms in the girl's hostel, but they have a common washroom in the boy's hostel. We have a compulsory hostel policy so everyone has to stay at the hostel and so a room is allocated to everyone although the locals go back home post their classes. Our mess menu is of average quality. We get to eat as much food and there is no limit on the quantity of food one can take but the quality is just okayish. There is no separate registration process for the hostel. Everyone who gets admission into the university is allotted a hostel room too in the beginning itself.
The hostel infrastructure is good and the rooms are fully furnished with beds, study table and almirah is available. The rooms are available on a single and double accommodation basis. The hostel has Gym facility and medical facility is also available. The common room has LCD TV facility with cable connection. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply and hot water during the winter.
No, bcz I am staying in pg from last 4 years. So it's not required to change and I am comfortable at my place. So I don't want to change. But they have good facilities and provide all security to the students.
Its rigid but then one can get student loans easily especially from corporation bank.Hostels are amazing plus the locality is awesome. Mess food is good but honesty back in 2007 it was best when we had jaisawal caterers. I secretly got to know that until

Since law is a professional course, hostels are mandatory. In hostel there are few single rooms and most are double and triple sharing rooms. I stayed in double sharing room throughout and hostel rooms are good enough for two people to stay. We both had our seperate cots and cupboards. The bathrooms are common but are in numbers in each and every floor. The food at the mess had variety but taste was definitely not so good.

Hostel for boys don't have single occupancy rooms. You have to share the room with anothers student. The mess food is the best among all the NLUs. The process for registering for hostel is conducted on the orientation day itself and is a matter of minutes.

There are separate hostels for girls and boys. I stayed at the residential girl's hostel of GNLU which is very well equipped with modern amenities like water coolers, attached toilets, a yoga room, a TV etc. Mess food quality is excellent. They follow everyday menu which is different for every day. They offer non-vegetarian food options also on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The hostel is compulsory with double or triple sharing. The hostel is neat and clean with a separate washroom. But trust me hostel will feel you like heaven. Meals are appreciable, with chicken, and an unlimited egg counter in the evening.
The hostel infrastructure at GNLU Gandhinagar is great. The hostel rooms are mostly two-seater, and have all the necessary facilities. There is a proper mess facility for the students of GNLU.
Here is a breakdown of the hostel fee for UG and PG students at GNLU Gandhinagar:
Type of Fee |
UG (per year) |
PG (per year) |
*Halls of Residence Charge (this facility is not provided during the vacation period) |
INR 24,000 |
INR 24,000 |
Mess Fee |
INR 36,000 |
INR 39,600 |
*The Electricity Bill is charged separately, depending on the use by a student.
The GNLU hostel infrastructure is good enough, and students are provided with all the necessary facilities. The hostels are provided with a WiFi that does become slow at times, but mostly offers adequate broadband speed. The Hall of Residence is well-maintained, and the hostel staff is cooperative.
The hostel mess serves decent food, four times a day. Other than that, the central library remains open for access till 12am. The night mess remains functional till 2 am, and it is a savior during stressful exam nights.
The hostels have a big sports ground, a sports-room which is open till 2:00 am (and which contains table tennis equipment, carrom boards, and a pool table), and a music room. Since the campus is quite huge, there is a bicycle facility for students to enjoy an easy commute. There is also a recreational room, where students enjoy watching sports matches.
The hostel rooms are mostly double-seater, and the only drawback is that the rooms do not have an AC facility. Due to this, they become quite hot during the summer afternoons.

Overall, GNLU Gandhinagar offers good hostel facilities at affordable rates for its students.
As a reputed law university, GNLU offers a good hostel infrastructure to its students. The GNLU hostels have two types of rooms: single and double sharing rooms. GNLU provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
Every student enrolled in GNLU has to compulsorily stay in the college hostel during their degree. The girls’ hostels have better facilities than the boys’ hostels. While the boys’ hostels have a common washroom, the girls’ hostels are provided with attached washrooms for each room.
