A review about DA-IICT

Likes

Strong peer group, very good campus life even after not much hostel facilities but they are improving at a good speed. Campus life is really enjoyable and nothing better during the fest such as Synapse and I-fest.
Faculties here are very intellectual and mostly in reasearch, they have very deep knowledge about their field. Overall curriculum is very well set throughout all the semester, and grading is relative here in most of subject.
Overall Infrastructure of the college is good, it includes almost everything badminton courts, cricket ground, lish-green campus, laboratory building, lecture theatres, resource center, and much more.

Dislikes

You will get bored of eating from all the same canteen in some months and still you have to eat the same untill you get graduated which I dislike the most.

Admission:

I chose this college over other as it have a compulsory hostel stay in campus which I like very much and challenging to be away from home. It have a strong peer group as well as well known professor to teach us. I got admission into this through ACPC, from my boards and gujcet score. You can get admission here through JEE main also.

Likes

Sports facilities is really good. All kinds of courts are present.
Faculty is good, everyone with PHD degree.
So many students club and various activities throughout the year.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is not updated and hence feels like it's not good enough for placement.
Management part is not good. Rude behaviour from management department.
Exposure is not good enough, you need to spend your own money for it.

Admission:

In the front section I mentioned I got BITs Hyderabad, BITs mersa, Nirma and other colleges below the ranking of mine. I choose this college so as to stay near home town and it had very good placements compared to others. While BITs Hyderabad is better than DAIICT, it is too costly. I got rejected from IITs as my JEE Adv rank was 22k and you need 5k for a really good IIT with your preferred choice. Admission in DAIICT is via JEE main or ACPC. Directly via a section of DAIICT's private website.

DA-IICT : Education with social responsibility

Likes

All professor are very good and curriculum is also good
The societies here are very good and college also support them very much and all fest happened here are also very good
The campus life is vibrant and campus is also lush green and beautiful

Dislikes

The food of mess is one of the major issues
Girls to boys ratio is also very poor. It's about 1:4.
Some faculties are very rude and that is hard to deal with them

Admission:

I am preparing for jee i got decent rank in both mains and advanced. Rank in mains is 8100 and Advanced is 8779 but as of genroul catagory it's very good to get good college and branch at same time. So from josaa counciling I'm getting MNIT Jaipur ECE branch but as of i' m from Gujarat go to outside gujarat is very big thing so i Apply in DA-IICT also in All India quota here is three types of mode of Admission First ACPC: On basis of your ACPC rank, second All india: on basis of JEE and NIR: foreigner student enrolled direct atleast one of your mom or dad should be foreigner. I got addmission through All india and i selected because this is best college in Gujarat After IIT Gandhinagar. 60% student are from All india quota,30% from ACPC and 10% From nri.

I can feel it when I do my project then I have dout and I got very accurate knowledge
I feel very proud to be DAIICTan and I have do it.

Dislikes

I think there is no such disliked regarding
But there is one of the best quality food
But there is no more such things to be overised

Admission:

Like in the previous all the terms I feel that in all over gujarat there is no sich college found like DAIICT so I have chosed it and my past schools and all this stuffa helped me a lot and I m securely got this.

Insight of DAIICT

Likes

The coding culture is good through out the college and there are many Compititive turnament fr coding and it's pretty too boat your coding skills for future placement and i interviews
There are many feasts and concert all the events are orgeenized by students so it's good to be here
Placement facilitys are good all the big companies come for the college placement

Dislikes

Well acedamics are too hard and it's hard to score good cpi
Classroom are not that intractive as I thought they would be
And this year getting a good placement is yard and it's getting harder as time goes by

Admission:

Well I chosen this college over others cause of its placement but seeing the placement situation from my own eyes i guess I should have gone fr a different stream then ict so I guess this college is overhyped fr it's placement

Everything You Need To Know About DAIICT

Likes

The first thing i liked about DAIICT, is of course it's coding competitive environment. There is no lack of coding talent here.
The second thing I liked is the events. There is always an event going in background which helps you engage in activities other than the curriculum
Also, the faculties are very friendly. They are always available for enthusiast students.

Dislikes

The first thing I disliked is that there is no attached bathroom with the room. As per the name of the college in the country
Also DAIICT has a slightly hectic and challenging curriculum. It definitely keeps you super busy everytime.

Admission:

I generally didn't look up to many colleges. I personally liked the course ICT and I want to build up my career in this course itself. This is because ICT is the combination of IT+CS+ECE. Like the best combination, a computer engineering enthusiast can opt for. Therefore there were only two colleges I preffered - DAIICT and PDEU. Although I was sure that my first preference is DAIICT and luckily I got admission to my dream institute.

Likes

Student culture is great. Lots of acitivities on campus. Junior senior relations are very helpful and genuine.
College festivals. Synapse, i.Fest, Tarang and Concours have really uplifted the image of DAIICT in Gujarat.
Placements. During recession as well, lot of tech giants (Google, Apple, etc) visited the campus and recruited ample students.

Dislikes

Curriculum is very strict. The courses taught by the professors sometimes are too advanced and complex to understand.
It is extremely difficult to get/maintain 8+ GPA as faculties are really strict while submitting grades.
Diversity and Gender ratio is disproportionate. Most of the people are from Gujarat, and boys to girls ratio is 40 - 1.

At 12.7k AIR in JEE '21 , I was getting SVNIT ECE, IIIT Gwalior 5 year course and NIT Patna CSE. Chose this because of the proximity and good placements statistics. Got rejection from IIIT B, my dream college. Couldn't make it because the cutoff shot high that year. Admission process is just submitting your JEE Score and apply through their website. Cutoff is mostly 15k JEE Main Rank for ICT, 10k for CS and 13k for MNC.

Student Life at DAIICT

Likes

We have quite good placement stats that encourages students to stay positive and keeps them motivated among studies
We have good peers and great competition that pushes us to keep upskilling ourselves
DAIICT has very good fests. Our annual fest synapse has a huge amount of budget and celebrities are invited here.

Dislikes

Our grading policy is quite strict. Very difficult to maintain good cgpa
Professors are rigid in nature most of them are above 50+ age wise.

Admission:

I took admission through JEE exam score. I had an option to take admission in IIIT lucknow and nit nagpur. I got computer science course in both the colleges. But I chose Daiict because it has very good alumini connectio, good food and hostel facilities, no restriction on hostel premises.

I like the campus of the college which is very green
I like the sport facilities in the college
Almost Every faculty of the college is iitian i like that

Dislikes

I didn't like the college's 70% attendance policy
I didn't like the gender ratio of the college
I didn't like the food facility of the college

Admission:

I had applied for SVNIT Surat for the computer science branch, but I didn't get admission because of my rank. I got sit into electronics branch, but I prefer DAIICT above SVNIT because of the placements and campus

MSC. IT in daiict.

Likes

Canteen which is most awesome place in daiict.
Lecture theatre 1 which has AC in it along with best view.
Laboratory, as it provides environment to work properly.

Dislikes

Cep classroom, very bad classroom management
Administration, as they just only focuses on money.
Placements, as there is no placement for mscit.

Admission:

I chose this college because it was one of the best college which i wad hearing since i was pursuing my bachelors degree. Here for the admission in mscit you need to give daiict entrance exam and top 150 students are selected based on the results. For btech, it is based on jee and gujcet exams. I didn't get any rejection from any other colleges, but thing I choose this college was that, i was wishing to get the same environment as that was there in my bachelors.
