What is the fee structure of IIFT, New Delhi?

The IIFT, New Delhi, MBA (IB) program has an annual tuition cost of Rs 8,85,000, which can be paid in three installments by candidates. In addition to the tuition fee, candidates will be required to pay additional fees of Rs 54,000 for library, computer, and alumni services during the duration of the program. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver. Foreign students and NRI students are required to pay the annual tuition fee and additional fees in full at the time of enrollment in the first year and by the beginning of the second year. Additionally, foreign nationals and NRIs are required to pay an annual charge of US$30,000, which would be approximately 2,19,15,000 (Indian Rupees) at the current exchange rate.

Campus size, Area of college far from main city

The course curriculum is comprehensive with MBA related subjects like Corporate Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Digital marketing, International Trade & Operations, International Financial Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, etc. The trade distinctiveness provides knwledge on International trade with port-visit opportunities across Indian and overseas port. IIFT also provides Foreign Exchange Program wherein it has tie-up with 20+ institutes across the globe; majorly in countries of European Union that helps the students to gain International exposure. The curriculum is rigorous with subjects like Economic Theory that provide vast business insights and macro-economic trends in International Business that affect the decisions of any corporate or business organisation. The exams are held thrice a year as it is a trimester based system that incorporates 6 semesters across 2 years of the MBA program. The teaching pedagogy is case based with focus on group presentations, quiz.

One of the best college for mba

The thing which I liked the most is the faculty. The faculty is very good with exceptional alma mater
Campus life is also good. We have a nescafe which works till 4 am in the morning

The location of the college is not that great
The campus is quite small as compared to other b schools

The curriculum is quite comprehensive which includes 25 core courses and 18 electives which is spread across 6 trimesters they have a mandatory social awareness program in which each person has to undergo a internship of 15 days in any NGO. College gives the choice of selecting electives from vast domains like strategy, finance, trade, economics and marketing. People can choose various combinations of the electives. The course is desgined in such a manner that each course have different weightages and they follow case based pedagogy which are provided by harvard and other Ivy leagues. The learning is experential and very application based. In our end terms we are not asked to explain a particular concept but a news will be given and we have to analyse that giving our opinions and back it with reasoning. we have mid term exams in every trimester and a end term at the end. The inernal component is 60% while end term is 40%.

I am enrolled in MBA ( international business) , so I have a variety of majors and minors from which I can choose, including finance, trade, marketing, information technology, and strategy. Every trimester, there are some subjects that are compulsary related to Foreign trade and International business.

A Glimpse into Life at IIFT

The placement opportunity that is provided by the IIFT is very good.
The placement committe of the college is also very good and collaborative in comparison to the other colleges.

The campus of the college is very small and it doesn't have any proper ground hence there are limited opportunity for sports.
The college has only 2 hostels hence the juniors has to live outside the campus

I chose the MBA in International Business at IIFT due to its unique focus and the institute's renowned status in the field all over India. The faculty-to-student ratio is good, as the whole batch is divided into four sections of 55-57 students each. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in International business, employing diverse teaching methods including case studies and practical applications. Term exams were conducted timely as the institute follows the trimester system hence the final exams are conducted every 3 months. In some subjects, the students get fail ensuring a rigorous yet enriching learning experience.

I liked the Placements, companies visiting campus, rich alum base, professors and campus life is pretty vibrant.
The fests and cultural events are worth attending as they are filled with exciting opportunities.

Campus size not that large, It can be extended.
Internet and infrastructure need to be updated.

I was working in Oil and gas sector where i have dealt with the trading side of it as i was involved in curating data from the sales team, that gave me exposure to international trade and my interest for it drove me to pursue an MBA in International Business from none other than the best institute of trade IIFT Delhi. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:8 and all the faculties are renowned in their respective fields, some of them working directly with the commerce and finance ministry. The teaching methodology is generally case-based and practical examples are given by the professors. Caselets and casebooks are provided before every class. The end-term exams are held after every trimester and internals are held mid-trimester in either offline or online format. Exams are moderately set and are generally doable in the first goitself.

The college was entirely student driven, and give a scope of maximum personal and professional development.
The college had collaborations with various other universities, enabling effective networking with professionals.

The hostels were a bit far from the institute, so that created a bit of difficulty.
There was a bit of red tapism involved in the processes, that could have been improved.

This course provides an in-depth understanding of the business domain and increases the professional value of an individual. It provides practical insightful programs as a part of the course like summer internships, social awareness programs, port visits, live projects, and possibilities of case competitions and corporate events. The faculty-student ratio is 1:7, which is optimal as per standards. The faculty is highly trained and educated, having relevant industry experience, research papers, and journals published under their name. The exams are based upon a trimester system, that is 3 exam trimesters in a year.

The faculty is highly qualified with Ph.D. degree and teaches in a combination of case studies and theory part. Term exams are done once every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate to pass the exams.

IIFTIAN

I personally like that how here there are lot of networking opportunities available. Alumni of the college visit in various events and in certain you get to connect with them at personal level. They even also come as guest in first week to guide us.
Faculties here are also brilliant. The teaching pedagogy and curriculum is well structured. And the live project opportunities are also great.

The one thing that could be better is the food in hostels.
The college doesn't have proper ground for sports activity.

The curriculum is well structured. Trade courses are in particular best. All faculty members are helpful. A case study-based teaching style is used in class. In each class we are around 52 students. From Communication to finance basics of everything is taught.
