- Campus size not that large, It can be extended.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was working in Oil and gas sector where i have dealt with the trading side of it as i was involved in curating data from the sales team, that gave me exposure to international trade and my interest for it drove me to pursue an MBA in International Business from none other than the best institute of trade IIFT Delhi. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:8 and all the faculties are renowned in their respective fields, some of them working directly with the commerce and finance ministry. The teaching methodology is generally case-based and practical examples are given by the professors. Caselets and casebooks are provided before every class. The end-term exams are held after every trimester and internals are held mid-trimester in either offline or online format. Exams are moderately set and are generally doable in the first goitself.
Internships Opportunities :
The summer internship saw around 150 companies visiting the campus, major roles are offered in Marketing and Sales, Consulting, finance, operation, Prodman, IT analytics and Trade. The average package is around 2.6 lakhs for 2 months.100% placements is ensured.
Placement Experience :
The Placements scenario is pretty robust and the corporate relations are active throughout the year, Placements begin since November and gets wrapped by December end.The students are given placement assistance and mock interviews are scheduled. Companies like Coca-Cola, P&G,HUL, Accenture Stratergy, Microsoft,TAS, EY, Mckinsey, Deloitte, Eli-lily, Cipla, Titan, ETG,Gail, Olam, Mondlez, HCCB, etc. come for recruitment and the highest salary is offered by ETG 84 Lakhs,the average placement stands at 29,10,000 and mean at 26,86,000. 108 Recruiters visited campus last year and 17+ international offers were made. 100% placement is ensured by the college. I'm planning to have a career in consulting or marketing after my mba degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for 2 year MBA-IB program is Rs 21.77 lakhs including books, hostels, computer lab, and admission fees. For NRI students it stands at around USD 60,000 plus a tax of Rs 3.4 lakhs. It offers following scholarships 1.NSP (National Scholarship Scheme) for need cum merit-based, where a sum of 15K/month is received by the beneficiary for around 10 months per year,it needs to be renewed each year. 2.OP Jindal Scholarship for Meritious candidate of 1.5 lakhs to meritorious candidate 3.EXIM Bank Scholarship of 3.5lakh to Toppers in SC/ST category students only. 4.National Scholarship Scheme for PWD, OBC & SC/ST category students, it is the same as NSP(point 1) but with consideration of category as criteria for selection.
Campus Life :
The Annual Cultural Fest is QuoVadis which happens every Feb. Annual Business Summit Tradewinds happens every October, it gives a platform to connect with industry leaders and CXOs. GAR(Grand Alumni Reunion) happens every November where 1000+ Alumni gather on the campus. UWL(Ultimate Warrior League) is a sports event where 4 teams fight for glory. The library has an impressive collection of 1,03,407 resources which includes 76,422 books/CDs, 17581 bound periodicals, 255 journals and many more ranging varies from eco nomics, finance, marketing, International Trade, and Strategy to specifics like customs, International Law, E-commerce, etc. It has a WTO resource center opened by min. of commerce. The Smart Classrooms has everything one needs during the hectic sessions, 2-way projectors with 2 screens which helps in easy visuals for the entire class, Pedestal,mic, and sound system are well integrated. It has 16 student run clubs and committes like the IMF,Mediacomm,Socrates,Systemix,etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are well equipped with study tables and chairs. Rooms are spacious and have ACs and room heaters. Mess food is pretty tasty and has a range of options. The menu is changed every week according to students. Hostel Fees range around 1,80,000 per year including food. It is in prime location of Delhi, and Hauz Khas market is close enough. The locality is lively,Katwaria sarai market is close by which has every necessary item along with some affordable food options.
Admission :
I got admission via IIFT's exam where for general the cutoff was somewhere around 98%ile for Delhi Campus and 96%ile for Kolkata Campus. The application was available on IIFT's official website which remains active for around 4 months i.e from Sep to Dec. It costs around 3K for general students opting for MBA-IB. Eligibility - Minimum 3 years UG program from a recognized institute with 50% minimum score. Admission Process - After shortlists is released the interview slots gets open for candidates to book their timing.In the first step there is Extempore(2 mins) majorly on geopolitics and global economic changes and some recent tech-based topics, Second step is of Interview by 2 panelists one will be responsible for technical questions and the other for HR questions
