At NIT Raipur, campus placements typically begin in the seventh semester for undergraduate students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world. A wide array of companies, both multinational and domestic, visit the campus to recruit talent across various sectors. The number of offers made varies annually, reflecting the demand for skilled professionals in the market. The highest and average packages offered to students are impressive, with the average reportedly around 12 LPA, showcasing the quality of education and talent pool at NIT Raipur. The placement percentage is consistently high, with a significant proportion of students securing placements in top companies each year, underscoring the institution's commitment to grooming students for successful careers. As for my post-graduation plans, I aim to leverage the education and experiences gained at NIT Raipur to pursue a career aligned with my interests and aspirations

Campus placements in our college are good but not that good compared to other NITs, students get their placements in 3rd and 4th year, according to their Cgpa and course they will get good placement but for the non-core branches like electrical, ECE, and mechanical the placements will be less compared to the core branches like IT, CSE etc.

We get a good placements in this college. As our college's average package is 16lakhs and last year's highest package is 34lakhs. As by looking at the numbers you can understand how good our college is at the placement. The companies were also good those are like Capgemini, Google, Hcl, etc
As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
