MATS University Placement Process
MATS University Placement process comprises five steps which include filling in the placement forms, application and shortlisting, pre-placement talk, interviews and offer & acceptance. The brief details of each step in the placement process of MATS University Raipur is given below:
- Filling of Placement Form: Candidates interested in availing of placement opportunities must fill out the placement form to participate in the further rounds conducted by various companies.
- Application and Shortlisting: Candidates have to submit a detailed resume which is sent by the placement cell to onboarded companies. Recruiters must share the list of shortlisted candidates at least a week before final interviews.
- Pre-Placement Talk: The placement cell schedules a PPT for students so that interested candidates can raise their doubts. The pre-placement talk is conducted for 30 to 60 minutes followed by a Q/A session of 15 minutes.
- Placement Interviews: The companies visit the campus and conduct interviews for shortlisted students. The interview process varies from company to company.
- Offers and Acceptance: If a student is finally selected, the company informs the CPC which further passes the information to the candidate. The offer letter must contain information like role, location, remuneration, and other relevant terms and conditions.

From final year 2nd last semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited like Bajaj finance. Ashok Leyland. Real estate. HDFC. Wipro. From our college 90 to 95 students get placement. The highest placement was 80000 per month lowest placement was 40000 per month.
Placement Experience:
The University attracts many multi-national companies for placements of graduate and post-graduate students of various courses. For instance, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Bosch, Cognizant, are some of the companies that place students and offer an average of 2.5 lakhs annually for students based on the course and position. However, as I have only been pursuing my higher studies at this University, I am unaware of the exact details of packages offered by companies.
Placement Experience:
Placement season was interesting and was divided into 2 parts. First part was mainly for experienced people and other was for freshers or up to 2 years of experience. High profile companies like BCG, HUL, Nestle, Deutsche Bank, American Express, etc visited the campus. Companies here were the maximum in terms of numbers as well as recruitment. Even the banker's bank, RBI, visited and created a huge competition among the candidates. The average salary was around 11. 8 LPA and max. domestic salary went up to 32 LPA.
Internships Opportunities:
Internships- recently Shree ram finance company was visited the college for the internship of the students, every year many companies are visiting for the internship, marketing jobs are more likely in this college

As I was in the undergraduate course of psychology, we had an internship (unpaid) to get clinical experience and write research papers. We went to Dr. Asfaq Hussain's clinic, he is a psychologist at Raipur and had work experience of 11 years. The internship was the best part of the entire 3-year program but apart from this we also got a chance to provide online counseling to covid patients who were in home isolation. It was a health department initiative to take care of the mental health of patients. We counseled over 1200 patients approx.
Internships Opportunities:
B.Ed program does not have such offers of campus selection but an Internship at a School of 3 months and 1Month school observation is done as a part of the syllabus to train the trainee. School visits and how the school runs are taught during the visits.

MATS University provides the best and great placements to students, and it also provides the best and excellent internships for students to have a good future. Almost 100% of the students who have been passed out of MATS University got jobs. In internships, students always get a chance to gain knowledge and get more experience. So, students can learn anything in a very easy way.

The college offers some good opportunities for making students future bright and secure. Overall, the placements can be improved.
