About MATS University
MATS University, Raipur run by Shri Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Education and Cultural Society, is a private university of Chhattisgarh state, established by the Government of Chhattisgarh in 2006. The university has two campuses – one is at the heart of the city, next to Pandri Bus Stand, Raipur while the main campus is spread across 130 acres of green lush land in Aarang in the outskirts of Raipur with a well-connected network of public transport. The university is recognized by UGC and approved by NCTE, AICTE, AIU, and BCI. The university is accredited by NAAC with a B++ Grade. In 2023, a Super Indian Award was given to the Hon'ble Chancellor Sir of MATSUniversity for Exemplary Work in the field of Higher Education.
MATS University offers several Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs through 14 schools or academic departments. Currently, it boasts 17,000+ strength of students pursuing UG and PG degrees under Regular and Distance Learning Programs.The institute accepts entrance test scores like JEE/ CG-PET/ MU-PET/ GATE/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT etc. to allow admission into the programs namely BTech, MTech, MBA, respectively. There wasn't any specific exams, i just went and filled all the admission forms and submitted the required documents and just paid the fee. After paying a teacher came to guid me which subject i should choose and possible course

Candidates must have completed class 12 in the commerce stream from a recognized board and must have secured at least 60-65 percent. The application was found in the office room by the receptionist and the price of the application form is 500.

If you got more than 60% in 12 to standard then you are eligible for a 10% discount on college fees in the first year only, and if you are belonging to OBC, SC, ST then you can also apply for a scholarship between December to January.

Eligibility criteria are 45% in the 12th standard. Then there is an interview based on which admission is given. The application form is available online for further details one can visit the office and get in touch with the admission team. No improvement is required.

I took admission in BA psychology and didn't have to appear for any entrance exams, usually at graduation level apart from some famous ranked colleges like DU, Christ, etc you don't have to sit for any entrance test. I contacted my department via phone call, the number was available on the newspaper add and got all the needed information. The staff who answers the phone calls are very cooperative. After having all my queries cleared for example what's the course structure, fees, faculty information, authenticity, etc, I decided I will join the college. You will have to go to the university campus on your own, just ask at the reception area and you will have all your queries cleared.
Admission:
Any Graduates with having a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for the course. To get admission To the B.Ed program you have to attend the entrance exam called CG Pre. BEd.
