Firstly there's no interview thing for admission, no exams , no difficult process . Knowledgeable teachers, supportive and encouraging staff. They will help you to participate in competitions
Good infrastructure, windy, open and airy. Clean environment, trees, open air auditorium

Dislikes

A little far from the main Ropar, not easy to make it in time. Sometimes the transportation is not available

Admission:

There's no entrance, just call or go there and get admission if you've scored decent marks and passed your last examination, you'll be welcomed there and the process is easy and understandable, staff is helpful.

Faculties are supportive and very cooperative throughout the course.
Classrooms and labs are quite impressive and good in condition

Dislikes

Mess food is very low quality and quite expensive
Washooms and toilets are not clean properly

Admission:

Admission process was from JAC chandigarh counselling according to the AIR rank in jee mains. And the 10th and 12th marks more that 60%. There are many categories if reservation like st sc obc. You have to fill your choice according to your rank and preference

The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated.There is a girls room in the campus with Ac's ,sofas and proper space to study.
Every department is properly diveded. There is a canteen as well as a nescafe corner along with juice center etc.

Dislikes

Less placements and internship were introduced for the science students especially for medical students not a single placement.
Girls hostel and boys hostel are like 2 different world like boys hostel is just near the classes and everything but the girls one is kinda far and obviously more strict than the boys hostel.

Admission:

If one wants to do bsc from Punjab university then you have to give Common Entrance exam for undergraduate and on the basis of your scores you will get admission. The Punjab university UGCET takes place after 12th results and mainly all exam centers are in chandigarh only. You want to take admission in PU affiliated college then the admission criteria depends upon the 12th marks. The students that belong to any of the reservation based on caste.Or sports quota single girl child on Northeastern or other any reservation do get scholarships and separate seats and upto 5% weightage. The Punjab university exams difficulty level is moderate. But if you are aiming to get into Punjab university science, then you do have to start your preparation right after your boards. And because the number of seats are very less and the students are comparatively more also. If you are from punjabi university management or a NRI then there are separate seats.

I like the mordernized culture of UIET. See UIET Chandigarh is not a any separate college, It is an Engineering department of very prestigious Panjab University. So the PU culture is very modern. It will helps you a lot in your overall development.
So we all know that Panjab University Chandigarh is One of the best universities in India and globally also. so it is very helpful for students. If you want to pursue masters in foreign countries like USA ,Canda,Australia,UK

Dislikes

In UIET not everyone can get a hostel. Only Few Students Can get it. You can get a hostel by a merit list.
In UIET department ,There is only Two Academic Blocks. So it's not big as Like NITs,IITs. But the Panjab University is very well build.

Admission:

The admission process is very easy. You can get this college via JAC Chandigarh Counseling. Go and check the website of JAC Chandigarh Counseling Website. So many Reservation Benefits are here like SC/ST/OBC and many others like rural areas, one girl child, Defence quota, Sports Quota, etc.

The faculty is great. The HOD is very cooperative. You can easily seek help
There are regular seminars regarding all disciplines which also provides hands on knowledge

Dislikes

The knowledge is mainly theoretical and the practical knowledge is least
The exams are lengthy and often promote rote learning

Admission:

The admission process was based on merit . There were around 3 merit lists . There wasn't any exam in the year i took admission . The admission process was completely online and smooth . You are required to choose your subjects while applying

Crowd is good as there are no creepy peoples. Also the ambience of campus is also clean and maintained.
Canteen food is also very tasty, A person cannot be bored of it if he/she wants to eat daily from there.

Dislikes

Classes are very hot as there are no ACs or Coolers in classes of B.Com and also the classes are on top floor which always remain hot in summers.

Admission:

Admission Process should be done by many ways : 1. Merit Base : In Merit Base, students have to apply for admission application form on DHE.CHD website which will give admission to Students on the basis of 12th marksheet. Entrance Test : There are also entrance tests which are held in June, July.

Teachers are experienced. They teach us well
Good environment in college canteens are good there are many options to eat

Dislikes

Lack of trips and other cultural fests they dont do fynction
Some teachers do not teach properly or they miss classes

Admission:

I have filled form on DHE and it's quite simple the admission process is easy u need to fill all your details and attest your documents and your form is submitted successfully after a week or two you get the message of paying fee and they also ask if you belong from any special category they give you privilege for that still I belive it can be made better.

Senior are very Cooperative for helping in studies as well as in other activities

Dislikes

A number of Students making couples and creating a non reputative image of other students.
Teachers behavior is not equal with all students they use discrimination with some students as they are not good in studies.

Admission:

Student with 50% in Class 12 will be Eligble for any of course for Undergraduate Students. These all information will be available on the Site of the College I have no knowledge about reservation benefits Timing of exam is 2:00 P.m to 5:15 P.m Fee SubmittionTeacher have to change as she have a lot of ego
