Likes
- The professors in this college , especially in the CSE depatment are very nice and supportive. They are expert in their respective research field and also very passionate about teaching.
- The sports infrastructure here is too good. Despite having a small campus, all sports facilities are available including Cricket, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Squash and Badminton.
Dislikes
- The hostels are a bit old in infrastructure for the first year. But the location where it is present compensates for it.
- The campus alllows visitors without proper entry. Although security is very tight at hostel entrances, but someone from outside can also enter the campus.
Admission:
The admission here is made on the basis of JEE Mains Exam Rank and cutoff varies from branch to branch. The reservation benefits of Govt. of India is also apprlicable here. The seat is alloted by JoSAA and CSAB councelling after which you ahve to report here. The admsission process is smooth and you have to register online before reporting to the college. The fee waiver can also be availed for low income category student, i.e. if you income is 1-5 lakh then you have to noly pay 1/3rd of the fees. And if youyr income is less than 1 Lakh then , tution fees is completely waived off.

- The hostel facility is very good the rooms have to be shared by 2 or 3 students there are 6 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel .
- There are no. Of clubs in college thats , your extra curricular activities enhanced.
Dislikes
- The campus is not so big but now the campus will shift to big which have campus area about 125 acres.
- The library is also a bit small but it almost has all the books.
Admission:
For admission in Nit Patna, you have to clear the Jee mains exam there no. If branches in college. According to interest and cut-off, you can opt for a seat. All admission process is from the college website. There are reservation criteria which are in the college website. In every semester, there are two exams mid and end-semester exam.

The cutoff varied from branch to branch.The admission process was smooth.we just had to go through josaa counselling and then follow the procedures as mentioned there.Examinations are very easy and there is lots of scope for change of branch after first year.

- This college has the river Ganga by it's side making it more peaceful and beautiful.
- Friendly faculty and the labs and their maintenance is pretty good.
Dislikes
- The campus is not so big. We just have a couple of buildings and labs.
- The library is also a bit small but it almost has all the books.
Admission:
My cut off was 11,275 last year on OBC ncl list. But the cut off home state and other was kind of similar whereas in many NIT's the difference was very high. The application fees and dates will be provided in the JOSAA website as it was the common platform for all the Government institutes. I didnt get any benefits except my seat in the OBC-NCL list.

- Campus area is quite small not even 100 acres
- People from south should adjust for food

Eligibility for the course is based on the cutoff on that particular year at the time of my admission my crl is 59000 and in my college civil got upto 63000 crl and there are many other entrance examinations for admission in btech like eapcet, viteee, amrita, srm, klu, vignan these are private universities that conduct exams to get seat in it . For a student to develop communication skills and other languages north side is best

The eligibility to get into the college is to take the jee mains exam and to attend the counseling process.The application form and the process is all done by the national testing agency (nta) .There are reservation benefits and seats are given on the basis of reservation which the students have.The admission process should be clear and the faculty have to take some steps to help the students who have mainly language problem.

- campus is too small night now, but they are planning to shift the college to Bihta .may be in 2025
- Too many Bengali professors is here , they have problem in speaking hindi and english both

we should pass our 12 th grade with good percentage above 60%, and have Jee score between 91 to 100 percentile depending on the category , for general student it should be above 96 percentile and for SC/St it is above 90 percentile.

Admission:
There are 2 types of JEE MAIN. JEE PAPER 1 AND JEE PAPER 2. I gave both but got selected in JEE PAPER 2 which gives admission in Architecture. Admission is cutoff based, I secured 98.6 percentile and AIR 1324 in JEE Paper 2. However you get some benefit if you are from home state.

- My college has best Infrastructure it has almost all of the facilities an NIT or a Engineering college needs.
- My college NIT Patna are equipped with many clubs with supports the all round development of the students apart from academics.My college has many clubs and it has a green environment which is required for healthy living of all people living.

- My college NIT Patna has a small campus.
- My college has a small gym. Which does not have all equipments for all the exercises of students for maintaining healthy lifestyle.

NIT Patna has not mentioned the exact scores requirement for NATA. To be eligible for the B.Arch course you must have passed your 10+2 with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA marks in aggregate from the recognized board.
To be eligible for the integrated BSc + MSc course at NIT Patna you must have passed your 10+2 examination with a minimum of 75% of marks or 8 CGPA in aggregate in the Science stream from any recognized board of education.
