Ravindra nath library is gem of Assam University Silchar.it has Verity of books for students,you can get what you want after searching for it it is wonderful for me
Campus is very good you will fill likes you go to tour for any forests

Placement :- According to our seniors placement is very bad of college .
Guiding for dissertation and summer internship was very poor by the assigned faculties.

Good infrastructure facilities provided..healthy classroom environment..well equipped Laboratory..
Ragging free campus and hostile environment ..bus service is provided for every students..hostel barding is also cheap., departmental Library available

Exam notice comes suddenly..less time for preparation
Laboratory could be better..with proper facilities

This course brings opportunities for future..as it also saves time and money..it takes less capital as compared to persuing separate course for bsc as well as b.Ed..the faculty memebers are also good and specially there are less seats ..so proper care is taken for every student..

Vehicle facilities are good and available all the week except sunday, many ethnic fest areconducted every time of the year, my favourite is the Football field where evry evng after tiring day we go for running or playing football, campus is beautiful
Teachers are good and caring unlike other departments, faculties understands any problems that a particular student faces and listens them carefully and take wise decisions on it on the favour of them, library is good and well maintained

Dislikes

Water facility is average in department most of time for best quality water u have to go to library or boys hostel 5
Electricity shortage occurs during summer time bt hostellers get the facility of generators in their hostels

Placement Experience:

In Bsc bEd there is no placement But internships are provided to get the real teaching experience and to get the chance to interact with students My plan is to give CTET exam and apply for teaching jobs in central schools like kvs and jnvs

Campus is very beautiful. It's fully residential campus and environment is very good for studying

Lab attendends are mostly contractual and gets changed frequently

There's a placement cell there through which many placements are done.Placements are done in NIT silchar in which selected candidates are called from Assam University for the placements.Faculties are very helpful regarding placements.

Though every colleges have their pros and cons, nothing us perfect I'm not also a good student but i love my college I'll give my best for my studies.

I like my college area it is enough big.
I like my college campus it is enough big and beautiful.

Dislikes

College campus is remained dirty not clean enough everytime.
College authorities do not have a good communicative relationship with students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject english that is why I chose this course, I'm studying ba in English and i will do post graduation in also english, but in our department student teacher relationship is not good enough, I can't communicate with my department's professor as much. The other problem is last year we gave 3 semesters exams together in a year which should be held after 6months, I would like to request the authorities to give concern about that.

Review of MBA program from Assam University Silchar

Curriculum of the course was adequate enough for competitive exams
Teaching standard was up to the mark, regular classes were there

Dislikes

Too much power and politics were involved in faculties
Timetable was overwhelming. Timing of the classes were exhausting such that you won't get enough time for finishing home assignments even.

Placement Experience:

Placement from department of business administration is high in rate every year. Student become eligible for placement in 3rd semester of the course mba. Some of the companies that visit for placement include Bandhan Bank, ICICI, HDFC, IDBI, Pantaloons etc. The job role includes sales and operations. Percentage of students getting placement is above 90%.

National Science Day celebrated every year on 5th sep in different department which i like.
Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary and also many other cultural programmes activities are done in cachar college which i like

I disliked many teachers have no experience of teaching
I dislike the curriculum because the curriculum is outdated and not relevant to today's world

I like the course of bsc because there are many different type of subject , and which subject I like to take is also there. Proved to be an effective strategy for the quality enhancement in teaching learning process. For AEC exam there should not be any internal exam.

The first thing is that there is a free wifi portal for all the registered students of Assam University so that the data limit cannot hamper
Secondly the huge library provides number of variations of books so that students can go through whichever they want.

Dislikes

Sometimes there is more domination of the seniors ( may vary from batch to batch).
Student welfare Dean should be active regarding the issues of the students and that should be neutral without partiality.

Placement Experience:

From BTech students the koiyo sit in the campus placement are mostly offered to 7th semester or final year students. Many companies like Tech Mahindra , Wipro etc. visited the tech sectors with 5+ open offerings. In technology sector there are 60% of students getting placements. I have some plans rather than campus placements , i planned to sit in the GATE entrance examination and to do my PG.

The building of the college campus and the main gate.

The bathroom were to smell ,dirty and unusual for the students

The course fee was unexpected it's so chip for the rural people like farmer families. Because , the provide the option for the free waver at the course during the academic season ... this year 2024 is my final years for the semester.

Well disciplined and strict rules for good development and zero violence
Free admission for poor students whose family's income is less than 2 lakhs per annum

Dislikes

Toilet space is too small, there are only 5 toilets.
Less access to library and less variety of books

So my course i.e Bcom hons follow CBCS system and consists of 3 years of classes divided into 6 semesters of 6 months each. We get new subjects every semester. There the 3-4 faculty per subject and everyone is well educated and equipped to teach us.
