Biotechnology graduates can work in the field of medicine and healthx6by developing drugs, critical therapies as well as agriculture by developing genetically modified crops. If you are interested in this field then definitely you will enjoy doing and will be successful in long run definitely. It is a combination of biology and technology so it seems weird for engineering students in beginning but here teachers explan from basic to make us feel comfortable so the curriculum is quite interesting and good.

The course curiculum are very hard to follow even a good students have difficulty to follow as there are 2-3 times minor test and 1 time mid and end exam so faculty only focus on completing the syllabus.

Schedule and timings are very strict, you have to maintain your 75 percent attendance otherwise they will give you R grade means you have to repeat the subject, and the rules are very strict if you caught in exam then you will suspect for 1 year and you are prohibited to smoke and PDA

The Course Curriculum covers all the topics required to be well versed and industry ready in the particular branch of study. It also focuses on the business aspects and scope of the course topics. But there are redundant and old fashioned parts or topics which are still included though irrelevent at present times. There are two minor exams of 10 or 15 marks, one mid and another end sem exam which amount to a total of 100 marks, the difficulty level of which completely depent on the faculty teaching them.

The time when is applied the JOSAA influenced my decision for taking biotechnology cause at the time it was of peak covid so i thought that there might be many opportunities in biotechology for doing research in biotechnology and all. The curriculum in nitw is decent for the real world applications. The exam are pretty easy to write may be the could increase the difficulty level of the question papers .

I took Biotechnology as my main stream . i choose this stream because i want to get in NIT warangal . in the first year we have common subjects like PSCP (C++ coding) ,Engineering drawing ,physics and chemistry . ans we had mandatory physical activity courses to keep students healthy . we had very well equipped labs where we do practials . if a student is too interested in research he can great things under guidance of professors . on ther side if a student like to pursue their carrier in other fields he has well enough time for it .
