Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- The candidate must secure at least 60% aggregate percentage of marks or 6.32 CGPA in Class 10 Board Examination
- The candidate must secure at least 60% aggregate percentage of marks in +2 Science
- Aggregate percentage of marks = (marks secured ÷ total marks appeared) × 100
- The candidate must secure at least 45% or more in each of the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry
5% relaxation in marks would be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
The eligibility criteria for OTA category students shall be as per the guidelines of JoSAA .
Entrance Exam:
- Admission is done through JEE-Mains
Reservation:
- 50% of the seats are reserved for Odisha State Students. Reservation rules meant for SC/ST and other categories are applicable to this category.
- 50% of the seats are for students from all over India

- Students from Odisha Category: IIIT Bh conducts own counselling

Fees and Financial Aid:
In the 1st year the tuition fee is 78000 , 2nd year- 85000, 3rd year-91000, and 4th year- 98000. You have pay the amount each year for each sester. Son generally the fees for sem-1 is 125600(which inculdes some caution deposits, hostel fee, otheer charges) . And the reast carries on. So a total of about 9.5 lakhs will be your fee for 4 year of btech degree. Mess charges should pay seperately. Financial aids and scholarships are available mainly for odisha candidates.

- VIBRANT CAMPUS LIFE:- Life at IIIT Bhubaneswar is competitive, co-operative, helpful, enjoyable and really impressive
- The place is full of greenery and is pretty close to the airport too but is far away from the city so those who like such environments will surely like it.
Dislikes
- Small Campus:- The campus is pretty small which makes does reduce walking distances but spaces for activity too are limited
- Classrooms lack air - conditioning and the hostel rooms are very basic

Some of other cumpolsary charges include:- Library & IT charges, Examination fees, Student welfare fees, Placement fee, Alumni fee, Campus utility fees.. There are many scholarships available too for students in need of financial aid

Currently according to current fee structure which is available in admission brochure the complete fee is nearly around 9.5lakhs 80 thousand. The mess fee is not included. There are various of scholarship available for odisha categories students you can refer admission brochure.

FEE IS HIGH. It is a government college but takes fees as a private college. No such assistance to students but students of weaker sections can get Tuition Fee Waiver by applying in that specific category.

- Coding culture is very bad and decreasing every year.
- Campus area is very less only 23 of acres .

Fees are almost same for a session of 4 years. This college provide tution fee waiver schemes to local residents. Companies like oracle and cognizant visit here and provide stipend upto 1 lakhs a month.

- Sports facilities can be improved.Gym is available but has limited equipments.
- Classrooms are not air conditioned.In summer it becomes very difficult for the students as bhubaneswar has a very humid climate.
