NIST Berhampur Merit Scholarship for B.Tech.

Clarification: For a C-1 student to maintain eligibility for the 100% TFW programme in the second year, they must pass all semesters in the first year without any backlogs and achieve a CGPA of 9 or higher. If the first-year CGPA is equal to or more than 8.5 and there are no backlogs in any semester, then 50% of the tuition price will be waived for the second year. The entry criteria will determine the maximum amount of the scholarship. C-2 or C-3 students, in any situation, cannot avail themselves of 100% TFW. Similarly, C-3 students cannot avail 50% of TFW.

NIST Berhampur Merit Scholarship Latery Entry
Merit scholarships are available exclusively for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, & Electrical and Electronics Engineering lateral entry students. (Diploma programmes should have identical branches.) There are no scholarships available for students in the LE CS (CSE, CST, IT) and LE ECE disciplines.

Clarification: If a student enters in C 9, but in the joining year he got a CGPA>=8 with no backlogs in any semester, then he is eligible for a 30% TFW for the next academic year. The entry criteria will determine the maximum amount of the scholarship.
NIST Berhampur M.Tech Scholarship
- The institution would offer an additional Rs. 5,000 to students with a valid GATE score. They will avail the scholarship provided by the government in accordance with AICTE norms.
NIST Berhampur MBA Scholarship
- 30% TFW for securing a mark >=80% or 8.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.
- 20% TFW for securing a mark >=70% or 7.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.
NIST Berhampur MSc Scholarship
- 30% TFW for securing a mark >=80% or 8.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.
- 20% TFW for securing a mark >=75% or 8.0 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.0.
NIST Berhampur PhD Merit Scholarship
- Full-time PhD scholars would get a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 for a duration of 3 years. Note:Full-time PhD students will assist in taking lectures and labs.
- Students may obtain financial aid from external funding agencies, including UGC, CSIR, NBHM, DST, DAE, and industry. =
NIST Berhampur Sibling Scholarship
- Sibling scholarships are available to the immediate siblings of a student or alumni on a one-time basis. The amount is Rs 10,000.
NIST Berhampur Employee Immediate Relationship Scholarship
- Spouses or children of permanent NIST employees will receive a 20% tuition fee waiver annually while pursuing their studies.
NIST Berhampur Research Assistantship
- The institute will offer the scholarship to students for research purposes or to assist faculty in research. Up to 5 students from either the 3rd or 4th year will be awarded this scholarship after a selection process. Students usually need to have achieved a 9.0 CGPA without any backlog. Selected students would receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 3000 for three months.
NIST Berhampur Teaching Assistantship (TA)
- The Institute will fund this scholarship for the students to enable faculty to support academic teaching activities (e.g., lab support, grading, etc.). A maximum of 5 students per batch (3rd year or 4th year students) based on the selection process will receive this scholarship. The department is eligible to get a TA if seats are filled >= 80%. Typically, students must have secured a 9.0 CGPA without a back paper. Selected students will receive an amount of Rs. 3000 per month for a period of five months.
NIST Berhampur Industry Collaboration Scholarship
- The Industry Collaboration Scholarship is offered to students who participate in a funded industry collaboration project. The scholarship or awards are given based on the agreement made with the relevant organisation, client, or industry.
NIST Berhampur Externally Funded Scholarship
- Manas Ranjan Sahu Scholarship. (Will be given in the foundation day.)
- Shiv Shankar Bisoi Scholarship. (Will be given in the foundation day.)
- External Scholarship. This scholarship will be funded by alumni, external individuals, organisations, or NGOs.

B.tech cse fee structure for 1st year was 1 lakh 23 thousand five hundred. Yes if you have ranks within 1 lakh in jee you will get scholarship. If rank is less than 50k you will get even more scholarships. Also if you want to avail loan with the banks who has tied up with college for exam union bank of india.

For 2023 batch the fees per year is 123500 and total expenditure is around 500000. But for 2024 it has been increased to 1.62 lakhs. About scholarships you can get all government provided scholarships and you can get it using the TWF

For Btech EEE-In the first year tution fees is around 83,500 and in 2nd ,3rd and 4th year its 81000 around per year Hostel fess are 30000 to 40000 per year Examination fees is 20000 to 25000 For the scholarship and all, different categories scholarships college provides to the students,for that students have to fill out the form in scholarship office.

The all over fee for our btech is 1 lakh 19 thousand 5 hundred rupees per year. They provide different types of scholarship . So that the students can get more benefit and can even learn more I have been working with a company name PrepInsta in the role of Growth Manager

Though the fee is quite affordable it is nearly 2.5lakh for the whole two years. Extra 2500 for every semester and also for other accessories. Technical and professional scholarships are also distributed

- I didn't like mess food and lack of sanitation in the canteen.
- clean drinking water is not available on all floors in the academic buildings and lack of washroom facilities

There is a hike in fees each year of about 2-5k. in both academic and hostel. the total fee of my degree would cost me around 7 to 8 lacks as i am staying in hostel. the mess fee is to be given seperately every month.

- Classes doesn’t have AC, in summer you can’t survive here.
- Not allowed to go out for internships, we are forced to do in college.

Fees is 1.21 lakhs including transport and academic fees of 1 year and around a total of 5 lakhs of 4 years There is a scholarship scheme available from govt named tfw which will pay the student tuition fees. There is many education loans available at college and many of them are taking it.

- The teachers are really student friendly and they make the course easy to understand.
- The friends here are open mindedness and are very career oriented so it gives a positive environment here.
Dislikes
- There are no AC installed here since it gets really hot in the summer and sometimes the heat is unbearable
- The class interiors are so bland. It's quite old fashioned and boring but ventilation is quite ok.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
So per year it's 1.2Lakh for now and there are some hikes in the fees for the next batches. Not necessarily in the present batch. So probably after 4-5 years hikes occur. The complete fees is 1.2Lakh including tuition fees and service fees and also bus fare. There are many scholarships offered every year especially for students whose parents are Ex Army or in the army. There are also scholarships for bright students who have secured top marks in their 12th standards. The amount offered is usually 15k to 20k as far as I know. At the moment I have not been employed since I'm in 2nd year but I do know about some seniors who were offered internships in summer where they were assigned as junior data engineers where basic analysis and computing of data was done in small organisations located approx 25km from our college. The stipend was around 5000 to 7000. It purely depends on your skills though.

- The campus space of our college is very large,filled with a lots of greenery everywhere. Our college also has good sports facilities.
- Our college has different labs for different subjects , each of those labs have personalized instructors and facilities.
Dislikes
- That college don't give time to play sports so even if we have all the facilities we as students cannot avail that .
- In few subjects the teachers are not well educated which leads to less knowledge in class.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Yes our college do provide different fees clearings measures ... Like our yearly fees is 150000. Which you have to pay within the 2 semester of the year . It's only the tution fees rather than this we have message fees and travel fees in different places . This amount also doesn't account for hostel fees . About scholarship you can get all government provided scholarship and also you can get benefits under TFW scheme if you have good marks .

- i like the campus area, area is large and here so many facilities like lab, library ,canteen all are good . for sports indoor and outdoor are there.and gym is also there.
- faculty in all departments are very helpful and teach very well . from different state students are coming for their education . students are offered opportunities for hands on learning through project and internships.
Dislikes
- attendence criteria of 75% is the major drawback
- and unavailability of local markets near by place of campus. As for small things we have to go for market which is far away from college.

for b.tech 1.62 lakhs with 10+2+jee main is required. the highest and average package offered INR 19.20LPA and INR 6 LPA respectively. the companies visits our college are infosys,wipro,myntra,tech mahindra,pwc. scholarships offered by NIST are sibling Scolarship,merit Scolarship,etc.
