I am impreesed by the alumni base of this college, hbtu is 103 years old college so it has a very vast alumni network
College professors are excellent is their respective subjects

Dislikes

Teaching methodology is quite old. improvements are needed in this part
Since it is a very old college so it lacks in the modernization of infrastructure

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible to sit in the placemts Some companies visited were valency international,optum,Samsung(R&D) Around 90-95% of eligible students placed till the end of final year My plan is to sit for placements

Overall placement is very good .It's overall a decent experience for a engineering college.Campus life is ok ok but campus is full of greenery ,students from all around the states as well as other states are there so the Atmosphere is very diverse and good.

I like the qualification of the faculty and professors.
I like the placement percentage and opportunities provided by HBTU

Dislikes

Placement percentage of some lower branches and some core branches other then chemical
If you are a freshie then you will find the senior and junior interaction too much irritating

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students became eligible for campus placement . In Harcourt Butler Technical University best branches for placement are CSE , IT , CHEMICAL and Paint technology. In these branches placement % is 100% .

In some classes AC is not present so in summer students facing difficulty.

They are professors are well qualified and very well experienced and their study also in IIT

The condition of many hostels are very good but also the condition of many hostels are not good

Placement Experience:

If you concentrate on both other activities and also a CGPA and academics you make sure that your CG is above the 7.5 so you go to the placement now the name the desert different companies come and give a very decent package for every branch and there is the highest package in crores and lowest package are moderate types and every student also specific in chemical engineering every student are placed with a decent packages

Placement Experience:

in Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur In the 5th semester, you are eligible for internship and placement But officially started from 7 th semester or in the final year of your college. In chemical engineering many companies like Honeywell, Exxon Mobil, and art industries. And many more and some psus directions directly visiting campus. Almost 90% of students in chemical engineering are placed.

West campus of college is quite far from east campus
Mess food is not so good as per the mess fee

The students become eligible for placement from the seventh semester onwards. Many renowned companies like Exonn, jubilant, reliance, Amazon etc visit the college. The highest package is usually from the computer science and engineering branch and after that, the highest package is from the chemical branch.

Likes

Fests and events of college are very good. Last time Darshan Raval came in our fest.
Infrastructure of college is good but it requires maintenance

Dislikes

Mess food is ok but it can be improved much
Library timings are not good. It opens at 10 in the morning and closes at 5 in the evening.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester. Companies vary from Branch to branch but Exonm, Reliance and Jubilant are some renowned companies coming in college. Almost 85-90% of students sitting in placement get placed.

From six semester students becomes eligible for an internship in various industries and internship provided by my college. Companies visited in my college are Amazon, Flipkart, ExxonMobil, Asian paints and many more. almost 95% of students got placed.
